Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So is the writing 'woke tongue in cheek' as per Kingmaker, or woke that's barely tolerable?.

Edit: But still worth buying 'cause it's a good game.
it is incredibly woke. the most woke game since china colonized the british enclave of hong kong (sommerset island).

Oh that's alright then. If it was as woke as the British PM local queen asking the Taliban demons of the abyss to be more inclusive and to stop raping and killing everyone, then I might have had to give it a pass.

Goods shouldn't take her, that much is obvious.

Disagree on the trust part, she's very upfront that she'll stand with whomever is strongest - if you're confident that will be you, you take her.
Who gets to decide who is strongest, though? What's stopping her from betraying me when we face Deskari and she decides he's stronger? "I stand with the strongest" is an even worse case to make for her.

Again, if you're confident you (the PC) can convince her that's you, take her. It really plays out like that in game, she's completely loyal that way.

Reminds me of One of Many from MoB, he will also stab you in the back if you try and cuck him, but play nice and he's the most loyal of them all.
So, yeah, there are no guarantees, which is the problem with her. People like her are like wild animals, you can't trust them they won't turn around and eat you at any moment. One of Many isn't like that, if you go along with its perversions and allow it to feed it stays loyal to you no matter what. It's not a coin toss whether it will deem stronger than you.

She is much like the birds of prey hunters make bonds with. It is purely based on trust and not affection. Wenduag respects you and is obedient to you because she sees you as powerful, it is playing with fire of course as she can betray you as easily as she betrayed her former master (whom she kills) but sometimes you have to play with fire.

How do you recruit units for your army?

I just reached the overworld map after the first chapter and I have two armies. I recruit a general for one of them by clicking on the "i" button on the bottom of the screen, but despite what the tutorial says, there is nothing there that allows me to recruit new units or reinforce from losses.

Also another question, where can you start building your city? I also see no city management screen.
I don't think you can recruit straight from beginning, you have to do some basic battles and then the tutorial will prompt you to recruit, then afterwards you'll be able to recruit once a week (the recruits will respawn once a week).

I could recruit before the first battle. You can also pay Irabeth 7500 for some extra troops, but dunno what those are.

Rerolled. All coincidence is coincidental. Seems op. Mutagen gives you at 3rd level +4 to strength for 30 minutes which effectively gives +2 to attack rolls and damage.

I mean do you really have to? Realistically, I'd probably ask half orc bitch if she could spare one dude from her army who can hold a crossbow and carry a backpack rather than take either of those two clowns along.

No companion is mandatory, you can butcher them all if you like.

Is the chest near the Marketplace cemetery (where you first meet Nabasu) bugged or there's some secret to it? I'm ready to do Grey Garrison, cleared the rest of the map and still haven't figuered it out.

The scale of the war-map after Chapter 2 is intriguing. The Gargoyle Grind did alot to dull my impression of the HoMM Battles but I'm already having more fun with them then I ever did the City Management.

The master portrait file has approximately five full portrait sets for Undead Companions, meaning it's possible to wholly replace the standard companions with your raised Graveguard as the Lich (Plus the Skeletal Champion!). I'm certain of two, the third is a friendly character you meet at the start of Chapter 3 and the other two are unknown. I'm gonna try and find 'em all.

Do I have any chance against the shadow demon with a 5-member lvl 4 party? Paladindu, Spidergirl, Camellia, Ember and a Human White Male Wizard?

Also, I've rested twice so far, 9 hours each time. How much time do I have until the demons attack the tavern?

Playing a paladin focused on tanking. Should I just go with divine bond instead of horse? From what I can tell it’s worse than pretty much all the other pets if your not mounting.

Sorry, but for that trick I need to get the gay tiefling out of jail, and I'm afraid the sword may double up as his girlfriend. I don't know if I should get involved.

It’s either that or skip the shadow demon and the awesome loot.

Paizo? It depends on which companion you are talking about. Seelah, Lann, and spiderlady are Paizo. Anevia and Irabeth too. Or more specifically, Amber Scott. Nenio is an abomination Owlcat concocted after the kitsune won the poll (something I'm still not over, I want my ratfolk druid, damn it :argh:).
