based owlcat added literal pepe faced companion that triggers everybody

I do use Nenio solely because it's the only companion besides Woljif who can copy spells from scrolls which is great when there are amazing scrolls offered by vendors.

But yes, the downside is suffering the autism. At least you can change the portrait to human.
Ember is better offensive mage than her.

I have to say, that garrison dungeon, while impressive in how big it is, it's a damn slog. So many god damn fights, pretty tough ones too, and right now I feel the game is just trolling me. Opened a door, in there there are several small demons, a couple of half-demons and 2 freaking minotaurs. wut.

That's a nice one because if you try to open the
exit door
early they come out of the next room and there's a trap there if you try to come after them.

Great encounter design.

If it's too tough no dishonor to lower the difficulty until you learn the game.

just turned Auto Crusade mode on after fighting against two enemy armies with Gargoyles back to back and it's literally such a boring and meaningless mechanic, these dumbass devs can go fuck themselves lmao, what a waste of game development time

The Gargs do literally 2d4-2 damage per hit. They're Gargs, they're tough. So it takes eight rounds instead of two if you don't bring Magic or haven't figured out how to buff yet.

As with P:K, auto means you're missing out on shit. It's not that hard to get through the current HoMM fights. If you have to you can skip days to build up troops but its easier now than in was in Alpha.

I gave in and recruited the thiefling. Best sounding companion so far. I don't care if he is gay. Also, first male party memeber besides the MC!

I find that these thieflings are portrayed as literally gypsies. Incline!
It seems another one will join the hunt for our sweet little vixen,Lacrymas .

Anyone trying elemental specialist Azata.
Double roll leans Azata too well into cc/save-or-die effects. If elemental spell doesn't also cc I see little point in it. For a blaster there are other mythics with unique blast spells.
Although damaging spells that fork might be interesting to try as sort of "i know haplo is going to hit this for 3k damage but I will pretent I know what I am doing".
the spell selection in that vidya is :abyssgazer:don't go around without your pits, web, slow, etc.

What do the levers in the cellar of the tavern do?
Make sure that you talk and hear all the stories from the storyteller before you attack the fortress. I just though that he will be with me for the rest of the game. Now i am near the end of chapter 3 and he still haven't shown himself. Those fucking writers are retarded scum, the best part of pathfinder games and he is missing or bugged!

Cav Order of the Lion lvl 2 ability now gives reroll vs Fear which comes up a lot early (infinite use AoE buff):

Lion's Call Fear reroll.jpg

Nenio can make y'all some high DC scrolls while you're resting in the Tavern for the Garrison (Wolj can cast with no UMD check if they're in his spellbook):

Buying starting army from Irabeth:

Daeran gets Glitterdust as a spell-like ability (bypasses SR too):

Not satisfied with my monk, will probably restart with another type of melee character. Casters with rtwp are just too much of a micromanaging hassle, and TB is not an option because it makes all fights take 10x longer.

This would be easily fixed of owlcat added npc scripts, but no... That the only thing they decided not to copy from baldurs gate or pillars.

All good writing breaks the fourth wall here and there - Shakespeare is full of asides. The thing that makes bad art bad is breaking the other three, so Mary Sues suck because there's a real person in your fictional setting, likewise the donor cameos in PoE - you can feel that is off.

Nenio (and Nok-nok) are comic relief like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. They lampoon a type of person rather than a specific person so it's something the audience (or player, or reader) can all relate to without being something from real life (like a Tranny, for instance) ripped from the headlines that ruins the illusion, the distance from the banal real that lets you reflect on it and re-create it.

What are you having trouble micromanaging? They have one action a round. Positioning? You can set a stop on spell completion to give them new orders.

Why did you buy? Remember when every game had a demo? Well since these fucks stopped doing them, the sensible way of testing games these days is to pirate. If you like it, sure, delete the pirate and give the devs your hard-earned money. No company gets my money these days until I've tested their product thoroughly. I'm yet to complete Kingmaker so won't be getting this for some time yet. There's plenty of warning signs already though.

If your panties are really twisted & wadded up about this you can turn the entire thing off in options and let it run on Autopilot just like Kingdom Mgmt in Kingmaker, so what's the problem?

Stop talking out of your ass. I already posted definitive proof how retarded those fights are.

Character speeds, like monks and mounted being so much faster than the rest of the group, some characters being super slow and always lagging behind, pathfinding issues that lead to characters being stuck in loops trying to reach enemies, makes rtwp a right pain in the ass. That's the reason I prefer melee because they just run in and smack things.

Casters are a good option if you prefer TB, bit the fact that they didn't do an alternate balance pass for TB mode, with smaller encounters and less encounters, make slogging through all those trash mobs, annoying.

Is the marketplace thing the first place I was supposed to go ? I am starting to doubt. I guess I would have been fine if I had 360 resto pots and scrolls ;_;
