Did you ever stop to think that maybe I was actually impressed with Kony's accomplishment and just wanted to know how and why he's so dedicated to playing RPG's through to their completion?

I didn't attack him, I didn't criticize him. You might want to chill.

Use more suitable language then. Have you never seen a long list of games people have played on a specialist cRPG site before? Does it ever occur to you that no-one else, aside from maybe a young n00b, would even think to ask that kind of question? And as for the questions in the above response... dude, this is a specialist cRPG site... what the fuck do you think people do with their 'so much free time'? So, are we to assume that if you asked everyone to list all the RPGs they've completed you'd be 'impressed with their accomplishment' and curious as to "why they are so dedicated"? Here's a hint: Clue's in the title of the site.

If other people posted their own then why not me?

I didn't finished a single game in 2013-2015, total void due multiplayer and Stalker mods. This is from Jan 2015 to this day. With good planning and not being completionist I managed to deal with them

Planned to finish
BetrayalatKrondor
Brandish-DarkRevenant[PSP]
Drakensang:RiverofTime
Hard to be a god
King'sField4[PS2]
LandsofLore3
Loki
Might&Magic9
Planet Alcatraz 2
Underrail
VtM:Bloodlines
Witcher3+SzK+KiW

Finished
Anachronox
BeyondDivinity
Darkstone
DivineDiviniy
Divinity2DragonKnightSaga
DungeonSiege3+Tres.Sun
DungeonSiege-ThroneofAgony
DungSiege2+BrokenWorld
FATE
LandsofLore
Might&MagicV:WorldofXeen
NeverwinterNight2
NWN2:MaskofBetrayer
PlanetAlcatraz
Risen2
Risen3
Sacred+Podziemia
Sacred2
SpaceHack
Summoner2[PS2/GC]
Torchlight2

Ongoing
-Divinity OS EE
-Witcher3
-Fallout 1.5

Someone listed Two Worlds 2. First game was enjoyable replacement for Skyrim - walking around and whacking stuff. Plus - neat inventory management (merge two weak items into one decent) and magic of course.
But sequel was made to be not playable and enjoyable at all. Good heavens.
Oh and there is new DLC incoming - Call of the Tenebrae.

I hate to press the point, but again how do you find so much free time to complete all these games? I'm genuinely curious.

You spend as much time posting about Codex drama as he does playing games. Cut down on your posting here and you will be surprised at how much time you gain. I stopped coming here as much as I used to and was able to clear a bunch of stuff from my backlog.

Heh, same to me. I paused with codex twice for around 3 months (for each "pause") and finished bunch of titles.
But still don't understand people that need to ask for self-ejection instead of simply log out...

Codex 2012
Incomplete:

Pathologic

The Void

:neveraskedforthis:

Restarted The Void a bunch of times and got to points where I couldn't progress because of the color farming. Pathologic I'll beat eventually I just play like 3 hours every few months because it's stressful.
Eh, the challenge is all the fun... but if you hate fun, then check this topic:
http://forum.ice-pick.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=9270

No I love both games. I don't feel compelled to complete them but I will at some point. There is enough creativity in the amount I played than in majority of full games.

Good. I loved The Void a lot, it's the most unique and atmospheric game I've ever played and one of the best games overall. I completed the English version, but I bought Polish one recently (which arrived today) as it's supposed to be more like the original version (English was rewritten, a bit different and it had much less dialogues...). Here's the Polish edition:

Fuck, turns out that (unlike English version) Polish version has a Starforce DRM :negative:

Planet Alcatraz seems quite meh. I played for a while but this game is very silly and mediocre.

I'm replaying Turgor/Tension/The Void, even though I have finished it only recently. It's just so good. This is my the quickest replayed game. I usually wait a year at least before replaying a game, but in this case it is only two months.
I bought a physical copy of the german version because it came with a soundtrack, which is phenomenal.
I think soundtrack is the weakest part of the game... and yet it's still good! Track #6 and #4 are great though, I could listen to them on loop, which I think I will be doing when I'll be studying (usually I listen to Wardruna when I'm studying).

I have completed Tension/The Void the second time. This time I was doing anything Brothers told me to do (and in consequence it was more like a speedrun as I did not need to do much). In the end I became one of them. The dialogues are much better in Polish version than in English, but it's not like the English version is bad, it's good, just not as good.

Tomorrow I'm starting another replay. I love this game more than Arcanum. My plan for the next playthrough is to revive the sis that commits suicide for the player and make her go to the world above. I read it's extremely difficult and requires a lot of planning, so it seems a good option for the third playthrough.

I don't think I've had this much fun with a game for a long time, if ever. :salute:

I'll write a quickie for 'dex about it during/after my third playthrough.

You've rekindled my interest in the game. Will reinstall when I get my new PC and finally complete it.

Also I really wish ice-pick lodge would work on a new game instead of updating Pathologic which doesn't even need updating.
Yes and no. I mean, Pathologic indeed doesn't really need a remake, so they could be focusing on making another proper game.

However, While Pathologic was good and Tension is astonishing, their third game called Cargo! was utter shit and Knock-Knock is like an okay-for-twenty-minutes flash game. I worry that they spent all their genius on Tension and there's nothing left. I hope I'm wrong though.

I think Cargo! was at least meant to be like self-satire. People kept saying their games were not fun and were too difficult so they made a game that was just retarded FUN stuff. But yeah I bought Knock Knock and lost interest after about 20 min so who knows. I don't even know how they managed to make a game with as high quality production values as The Void with such a small team, maybe they took out some big loans to Russian mafia.

I died about an hour into the Void. :negative:

Lend me your wisdom, Konjad.
Don't give up. I stopped dying like a retard only in my fourth attempt.

I sent The Void quickie to Codex staff, perhaps you'll be able to read it soon if they accept it.

By the way I dug up a screenshot of my Xfire profile. 307 hours in Oblivion :prosper:

I tried playing Underrail again but this game is not for me. I can't stand constant combat. it gets boring quickly. I expected it to open up and be more quest or exploration oriented, like fallout was, but it did not as far as i have played and i was getting really bored, so I dropped this game. I shall never return to it as I gave it two tries and both failed.

I also tried Avernum: Escape from the Pit, but the writing was stupid and other than that it was also combat focused game. The only combat focused RPG I could play in recent years was D:OS, but it had really good and unique combat, Avernum and Underrail is same old stuff I've played dozens of times already, meh.

Tried playing Titan Quest, but it's just a copy-paste of Diablo 2, but with few players online so I had to run around alone. Got boring as quickly as the games above.

This ain't how you hold a dagger and the armor is ludicrous.

I have played and completed Cargo! The Quest for Gravity, an average game by Ice-Pick Lodge. Enormous decline after The Void.

Now, having no cRPGs to play - I'm skipping Desu Exu: Mankindu Dividsu because Human Revolution was pretty average - I just play CK2, Chivalry and M2TW mod Broken Crescent

Lack of Linux port is a bummer, 'cos i'm thinking of selling my eGPU and ditching Windows altogether (I only booted it up to play Twitcher 3 and The Void), but maybe it will run on Wine anyway. I'll await some Steam sale and give it a try.

Why do you play the modern crappy RPGs that get low ratings on 'dex (and some overall) but not some of the older ones that are considered one of the best? No old Fallouts, no Arcanum, no Prelude to Darkness, no Gothic, no Morrowind (but Oblivion and SKyrim)...
