Eothas + Abydon + Galawain + Skaen + Rymrgand + Woedica for ultimate challenge.

I don't recommend it on your first playthrough though.

Then you should know it has been rebalanced many times since release. Beating all six of those challenges on PoTD with level scaling is nearly impossible.

Why would i chose level scaling? If i wanted to play Skyrim i would just install it with loverslab mods.

You can choose to scale lower-than-your level enemies up to your level, but not scale higher-than-your level encounters down. Also PotD means +15 to all enemy defenses and +2 to their Armor Rating. Make sure you prepare foods that boost your penetration, and keep an eye on abilities which lower enemy AR.

On a sidenote - pardon my sexism, but I couldn't help but notice how all the male archmages are portrayed as either bufoons or evildoers, while all the female ones are sensible and striving to maintain peace and order.

Use "Level-scaling", "Only up", "Everywhere" options otherwise game will be a snoozefest that no God challenges will remedy. PotD with level scaling (up) though give proper challenge till at least lvl 16 if you choose your battles wisely (going for stronger enemies as much as you can).

up till lv12-13 all ive seen are 1 skull at least.
i honestly thought about turning scaling off cos apparently scaling to your level means exceeding your level in sawyers book.

I doubt there's going to be a next game. At least not an isometric RPG. Prepare for PoE3: Elder Scrolls.

I believe they will finish the story with a 3rd game, an isometric game. Microsoft doesn't seem to care what game they are working on, as long as it is something that Obsidian wants to make. And I bet there's plenty of people at Obsidian who want to finish the trilogy.

It will cost them around 10-15 million dollars + marketing and this time Sawyer won't be there to reinvent the wheel again which should make the development easier. That's pretty much nothing at all for MS. Now imagine if someone comes up with a story that MS killed the ending for Pillars of Eternity trilogy. That hurts their efforts of trying to be the good guys a lot. So no, don't see MS killing off the 3rd game that would be Feargus if anyone and when he finally has the chance to finish one gaming trilogy, would he not take it?

That said, Parker's Skyrim game will be set in Eora. They would be stupid to name it Pillars of Eternity 3 though. It will have it's own title so the two different kind of games won't get mixed by casual twats.

And seeing how Feargus wants the company to work on multiple projects, there is definately room for smaller projects such as isometric Pillars of Eternity 3 and Sawyer's tactical rpg.
Obsidian staff number is nearing 200 on LinkedIn, they are now at 190. They added a few animators and few programmers the last time I checked.

Why does this need to be a trilogy. This didn't need to be a duology in the first place and they shot themselves in the foot by making it a direct continuation. Making a second direct continuation is stupid.

They might want a third iso game but I don't think the story demands another game/being trilogy.

It's farked.

It might get fucked cos of other reasons but not for being set in Eora. Mainstream would eat up an aRPG Deadfire with the same story, characters, gameworld etc that plays like witcher or skyrim.
