Yes, because your posts are exactly that. You seriously need to get laid if you seek attention from someone who tries to ignore you.

I dont like calling some stranger on the Internet for anything. But I think you seriously need to take a look at your posts in this thread the responses to them. After that you should consider either to stop posting or come out with more thoughtful replies. And try to assume less, just like The Brazilian Slaughter.

The real tragedy here is Obsidian's poor planning. They cost themselves 1-2 million in funding and cost us a game of a greater scope. This will probably end up being the difference between a pretty good game and a legendary one. I thought Obsidian was done fucking themselves but this obscenity will likely cost them and their children dearly. It's kind of like failing to disinfect a mosquito bite and losing your arm. Ultimately this Kickstarter was an atrocity. There is nothing Obsidian can do to erase this stain. This could have been the new shit. Instead, we'll get a decent game. Thanks for playing, Obsidian. Hope you're comfortable knowing that a couple hours of good planning could have made a positive difference in 10,000's of lives and would have paved an amazing future for you and the entire RPG community. Have fun on the shitter the next time you decide to fuck up everyone's hopes and dreams..............

This "speach" was more melodramatic than the worst JRPG. I don't know why people think that one minor mistake will have tragical consequences to the project and Obsidian. Especially if you notice that the only ones who are butthurt are the dozen or so Codexians, and everybody else is OK with the Kickstarter so far.

1.5 million hit.

:bro:

But imagine if Obsidian wouldn't have fucked up their project (as some Codexers say), they would have a billion now. :M

People need to realize that contributor money isn't an infinite resource, flow of which needs to be maximized throughout the entire Kickstarter period.

There's a large, but finite supply of cash out there that can possibly go into this project. Obsidian have a full month to extract as much of it as they can.

No, I believe this drama is justified. Obsidian failing to properly prepare themselves could have an extremely negative effect on CRPG's as a whole. This could set back our hobby an untold number of years. It's actually quite a tragedy.

Edit to JC - Shut up Matt. I'm a (paying)subscrriber of yours.

LeStryfe79 Money not pledged today is not money lost forever. It remains in the pockets of potential pledgers. Obsidian have a full month to convince them to hand it over. Your way of looking at this is all wrong.

LeStryfe79 Never heard of "wait and see" ?
I can assure you that an awful lot of people use that aproach towards kickstarter. Hence the rush of last minute plegdes...

I dunno. I personally pledged $100. I'm not going to pull it either. However, in today's age of fads and trends, i'm pretty sure Obsidian lost a substantial amount of cash. At this point , anything less than 5mil is disappointing and completely a product of poor marketing. Honestly, these kinds of foul business decisions have been the bane of Obsidian since their inception. This is something I'm sure most of us can agree on.

Lets face it, Obsidian design great games but fail at everything else KS included but you can`t have them all, stop the whining bitches.
