Lightning Returns PC release scheduled for December: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/lightning-returns-final-fantasy-xiii-is-coming-to-the-pc-in-december/

What's taking them so long :argh:
I'm happy that we will get it after all... FF XIII sold 400k copies but XIII-2 sold only 200k... and Lightning Returns will likely sell even less. The radio silence since XIII-2's release was worrying me they would cancel LR's port.

Mystery Dungeon-like Kagura Douchuuki is coming to Steam tomorrow: http://store.steampowered.com/app/378790/

AFAIK, the original release was an erotic game, and of course, Steam version will not.

edit: Oh, that trailer...

Oh my, according to Steam forum, you can't run the game without AppLocale.

They should have done this with Playism or Sekai or someone.

Sorry if I missed a topic on it, but did anyone actually play Artifact Adventure from back on page 3? Just got it today and I'm still real early in it but other than the (utter lack of) difficulty it actually seems pretty cool. Promise of a nonlinear Dragon Quest has been nicely achieved at least.

You make 4 characters from a class list of 6 classes and get dumped into a very DQlike world where you adventure for artifacts (apparently). When you find an artifact, whoever is in the lead slot of the party has the option of acquiring it, which boosts stats/gives new spells/other things? No idea for overall quality of the game, and as previously stated it's easy as hell so far (just grind til the numbers go up, standard old school DQ shit, down to the "cross a bridge and the enemies get tougher" stuff).

The nonlinear (so far) nature is kind of throwing me though. You're given a key at the start, which apparently will open one door (out of several). My dumbass opened the first door in the castle I saw, came to a room with 4 artifacts, and proceeded to boost 4 of my first guys stats because I wasn't smart enough to change leads (Whoever is in the lead gets the benefit, just cycle through them to choose). Other doors that I (grain of salt) believe I could have opened instead had a bunch of chests with better equipment and if the king was to be believed, an airship (could be anything from a game breaker to a red herring).

No idea if I should be posting this here, creating a new thread, or posting in a thread I missed, but I figured if I blather on long enough, some kind mod will show me the way. Will update as necessary.

Edit - Figured I'd at least expound on the class list. These are the game's descriptions, not mine.

Warrior - High HP and defense. Can wear heavy armor. Could be considered the cornerstone of any team.
Monk - Has a chance to attack twice when fighting barehanded. Causes more critical hits than any other class.
Hermit - The fastest class. Master archers and herbal experts, these recluses are useful in nearly any situation.
Explorer - This quick-witted gunslinger combines firepower and brainpower.
Shaman - Has more MP and intelligence than any other class. Wields staves bearing special properties.
Dreamer - Recollects how to use any armament or armor from mysterious dreams. A jack of all trades, but master of none.

I bet Oboro Muramasa. It's published by Marvelous, so it's possible Ghostlight or XSEED will do port job like Way of Samurai 4 and Senran Kagura.

GrimGrimoire is very fun and would benefit from mouse control.
I still have to play Muramasa, so a PC release would be welcome.

Good news for ys series fans,it looks like the newest ys game that was exclusive to vita was released today for pc(only in Chinese unfortunately).
But this means we might be getting a English pc port in a couple of years.

Usual teasing from Ghostlight blog: http://blog.ghostlight.uk.com/post/the-gog-big-fall-sale-is-upon-us

Meanwhile since the Steam release of Mugen Souls we’ve been very busy evaluating games for us to pick up, and I’m very pleased to say that we are now very close to agreeing deals for two of them in particular. The first of these is a Steam release of a Japanese action game to, which has probably been one of the more requested games we’ve had at late. I’m hoping to be able to share more details of it in the future, but I guess I should probably wait until the deal is actually signed :)
