RDR was great, this time I hope they port it to PC tho. They would be stupid not to do it, since GTA V sold like crazy on PC and has been on the Steam Bestselling title charts since its release, but we can't be completely sure since the previous Red Dead didn't get a Master Race version.

By the way, trailer didn't seem that incredible to me, I was expecting a bit more. Still, I think the game will be at the very least good.
The only thing I don't like is the title: I would have preferred another name, like Red Dead Revenge, Red Dead Retribution or whatever, from the trailer it doesn't even seem that redemption is gonna be a theme in this story, unlike John Marston's adventure.

No gameplay. I find it hard to care. I mean, I know the environments will look good and generally what to expect from their storytelling. What I want to know is what you do now and how it plays. If there are any meaningful improvements.
It will be dumb like all their games. GTA on a horse.

The game includes New Bordeaux, Rockstar's version of New Orleans which was already in that other game.

New Orleans

I've heard the West defined as "west of the Mississippi" and New Orleans is right on that river, so technically it could count. I wouldn't really know though, I'm from New Zealand.

You don't really see New Orleans in westerns, although I think it's in My Name is Nobody. But some movies have classy riverboat gamblers (like Maverick, with Mel Gibson), this game may be featuring those guys.

Right, we've all been thinking it. It's a bit nuts that Rockstar went to the trouble of animating the sway of that horse's testicles in yesterday's trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, right?

Wouldn't it just be mocap? So as they're capturing animation of the horse from that angle, they will also get the bollocks? Stupid article, but it is to be expected these days.

Do you really think they put mocap sensors on the horse's balls?

Not to mention mocaping horses is hard as fuck, would not surprise me if they were animated by hand.

I get a feeling like this is the Witcher 3 hype/downgrade story all over again. Only this time there is no announced PC release so they can wash their hands with the consoles not being able to handle it.

I agree with others regarding their fears about this game. There's a sinking sensation that I have in my belly that this game will be a big part of the decline.

The North American continent is marked by the Mississippi River valley in the interior and the Rocky Mountains to the far west. So naturally you're inclining the further west you go. Unless you journey too far, in which case you decline rapidly and before you even know what's happening you're in San Francisco. By then it's too late.

If it gets downgraded like TW3 I will be pretty fine with it
