if this was the 90s why do the game have USB ?i dont think they are in the market till 2000s

umbrella lab mail manager looks suspiciously similar to outlook 2016.
USB started to really come around in 1998, where the game is set.
Wikipedia said:
USB 1.x
Released in January 1996, USB 1.0 specified data rates of 1.5 Mbit/s (Low Bandwidth or Low Speed) and 12 Mbit/s (Full Speed).[21] It did not allow for extension cables or pass-through monitors, due to timing and power limitations. Few USB devices made it to the market until USB 1.1 was released in August 1998. USB 1.1 was the earliest revision that was widely adopted and led to what Microsoft designated the "Legacy-free PC".

Mail manager well, that's Umbrella magic.

On positive side, check the price of tobacco products and gas on gas station. Also liked old computer monitors, phones, etc. I think they did pretty well recreating the 90's setting.

Okay I've been playing this lately on and off (the way not meant to be played (tm)) and I'm really loving it.

But now I'm at that point where Mr. X is chasing me around. That + Lickers + Low ammo = Heart problems.

Lickers are the prime candidates for some of that precious magnum ammo. It's probably optimal to spend it to remove them from the game by the time the tyrant appears. Killing enemies that can bring you from Fine down to Danger in a single hit is honestly a no-brainer.

EDIT YOU SHOULD READ: After a quick search, the Nintendo DS had a port of Resident Evil 1 called "Deadly Silence" which you could probably emulate ez.
It's my favorite RE1 version. Once a while I go back to play it.

I saw it had some "remix" mode that changes up enemy placements and items. How is that?

Also, man, in this game it feels like Claire has the better arsenal this time around. Her Grenade Launcher completely obliterates Lickers and the Ivys. Leon may have better boss killer weapons, though.

The Sparkshot also isn't total dogshit in this game.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Someone shows how RE2 remake could have looked with fixed camera angles.

Personally I think it looks way cooler.

That looks cheap and horrible. Like every half baked RE2 remake in Unity that recreates the game in 3D then shovess the player camera in the corner of the room. It's an afterthought slapped on top of a game not designed around it. Shite.

Ehm, this isn't a mod or anything, just someone showcasing how it could have been, without polish of course.

Okay I found a useful trick that spares me a heart valve defect: I stopped giving a shit about the tyrant, and somehow he returns that favor to me..... mostly.

I also unlocked the Desert Eagle now so BRING IT ON MOTHERFUCKING LICKS!!!

He's attracted by sound. As long as you're not running/shooting mother fuckers in the face, you wont see him much.

10 or so minutes after RE2 being cracked, fitgirl repack was out.

She probably already had the game compressed and packaged and only needed to update the compressed package with the crack, so the only wait time would be whatever time it took her to upload to her list of torrent sites.

No! I’ve started that game a few times but I keep quitting at the tutorial ‘cause the graphics make me nauseous.
Really? I think the graphics have held up quite nicely. Specially the facial animations, which actually put some recents games to shame.

The graphics are the usual Source engine fare but I thought the game itself was pretty shit. Buggy beyond belief even with the unofficial patch with the worst combat I have seen in any RPG.

It’s more the mouse I guess. I have a habit of jacking the mouse sensitivity up and when I do that to old FPS’s on my pc it makes me nauseous ‘cause there’s no movement smoothing or whatever. Maybe there’s a setting I missed or mod I can download, it’s been a while since I last tried it. Someday I’ll give the game a fair shake.

The release window couldn't be worse

Kingdom Hearts III conquers UK charts with impressive debut week
Resident Evil 2 slips to No.2
This does mean that last week's No.1, Resident Evil 2, falls to second spot. The game slipped 67 per cent in sales week-on-week.

I doubt there's a huge amount of overlap between KH and RE. Kingdoms Hearts fans are usually around the ages of eight to ten, or balding ex-bronies.

This is the worst excuse I have ever seen for not playing a game. What the fuck does "movement smoothing" mean? Why would you turn up the sensitivity? Most old games, no, most games in general have absurdly high default sensitivity. I don't think there has ever been a case where I had to turn up the sensitivity because the default was too low.

most KH fans are at least late 20's now, last major release was 10 years ago

That doesn't seem very plausible to me. If they were in their late 20's they'd probably have a stable job and be married with kids. I doubt someone in their late 20's would care about videogames tbqh.

It makes me dizzy and it hurts my tum tum. Also there's like, way too much reading in that game.

So playing Claire.. and I have a bone to pick with the small section where you travel the streets from RPD to the Orphanage.

How far we've come in graphical details in 20 years. Blurry textures. No visible damage to the bus or debris. Almost like they plopped down the bus model and put a single (blurry) blood texture on a seat and called it a day.

They also had you go through alleys with the stairs up to the catwalk, stairs down and the dumpster to climb over. They put that girl zombie in there as a reference. But it comes off as lazy and looking like something built in garry's mod.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the sort of game that gets the interest of nostalgic PS2 gamers who haven't gamed regularly for years, it makes sense it would hit the charts but Square Enix have to be realistic and know most of those people won't be buying KH4/more spin offs as this is a one off for them.

Most people who buy Resident Evil are regular gamers already so you're never going to see Skyrim numbers for it.
