And that's it. Loop Hero is the only one I would say is bad, but the rest haven't blown me away although all show potential. Seems like a pretty weak year, tbh.

It's a good boomer shooter/fps hack em up, though really poorly optimised unfortunately. The engine it was built on was not designed for 2D fps.

There's two sides to it. On the flipside, it will attract a lot of undesirables with bad taste to the poll. Otoh, if the codex does not assert it's existence, how can we be expected to be known and catered to? It's probably a good thing that people are made aware that there exists a sizeable market and community for niche/hardcore rpgs.

There's already been at least one codex exclusive rpgoty poll, so might as well let the general public see this one.

Definite highlight was seeing an Alicesoft porn game there, but no Rance. It is like MAGIC, man!

Protip: if it says "action adventure", most probably it isn't an RPG. If it has "deckbuilding" somewhere there, it isn't an RPG. Roguelite + action... not an RPG.
