This is peak Redneck Rampage design.
Descent into basement, find out that there's explosive storage, had to blow not one but two cracked walls there (in a pretty small room), then you open closet and see this.

You fire at him but autoaim prioritized dynamite box (for some reason in RR they can be shot, which happens in the shootout, and you need them for autoresurrecting alien hybrids, and bulletproof dogs), get blasted into pieces, then this motherfucker blast you even with 0 health because he must play shooting animation before dying.

I don't even.

Velvet assassin is dark a very average WW2 stealth game that's saved by its fantastic atmosphere and incredible eerie soundtrack.


Also, this is the only game I have ever played where not all Nazis aren't portrayed as soulless monsters. Instead, some are scared and just want to see their loved ones again others are genuinely funny and likeable. This is even weirder when your protagonist is portrayed as a bloodthirsty morphine-addicted assassin who gets off from killing

It's really not a good game but it's so fascinating. Luckily the devs left in the dev left in the dev console so making screenshots is easy.
