Pretty sure that's the point.
Damn son you just exposed JDR13 as a filthy casual who plays Fallout 3.Dead Space Remaster
Whatever this actually is it seems familiar. It's not Aliens: Colonial Marines is it?
It's Fallout 3 (TTW) Mothership Zeta.

It sure looks pretty though.
Such a shame this game bombed. Bethesda blew shitloads of money marketing the shitty first one and didn't feel like making the same mistake a second time.

It has much better graphics than the first one, although I preferred the character(NPC, not monster)/costume design in TEW, which had a sort of "out-of-time" feeling to it. Everyone in TEW2 looks very modern and generic.

The environments in TEW1 look significantly better, both thematically - they actually utilized the game's premise and run with it - and in terms of their lighting and texturework whereas those of TEW2 look as bland as you get. The whole bloody game, both its environment and the protagonist's motivation, it's like you had SH1 remade by an aesthetically impaired AI.
I guess it -plays- smoother tho.
What game is this? It looks baller.
Necronomicon for PC-98 and FM Towns. What game is this? It looks baller.
Is it any good? I've had my eye on most of Fairy Tale's work for a while, but I don't read Japanese very well, and I'm sure since its an adult title its full of the harder kanji.Necronomicon for PC-98 and FM Towns.
The art and music are pretty nice, but my Japanese skills aren't good enough to appreciate the story. I'll definitely return to it after improving my skills. Is it any good? How did you get this running? I was actually trying to run this yesterday, but kept running into errors, that I only got as far as understanding they were errors.Tried Rejection: Dennou Shoujo a few days ago. The idea to combine grid-based dungeon crawling with manual aiming is pretty fresh to me, as I've only seen it in Dimensional Fighter Epsilon3.

Yeah, I was stuck on the menu. I had the joystick part figured out, albeit accidentally. I'm using the Neo Kobe emulator pack, and it seems the joystick there is preconfigured. I thought it was weird the confirmation button was Z. It never occurred to me it needed an emulated floppy. Thanks for the help.Did you get stuck at the main menu or smth like that?
IIRC you need to set up a joystick in the input controls and insert a blank diskette into drive 0. Create user disk by selecting the first option in the menu, then select the second to start the game.
FM Towns games use floppy disks for save data, so if a game refuses to run out of the box or displays errors on start, it's a good idea to start there. Also, user disk formatting and starting a new game is pretty slow (in case of Rejection), so don't panic if it takes a minute or so to get things started.Yeah, I was stuck on the menu.
