BROs, after completing my Tomb Raider series playthrough, I've started another epic project: a (non)complete Resident Evil playthrough.
With a
bang whimper.
Resident Evil 0 HD (PC)
I've played this game at least two times in the past, and always liked it (for what it was). But during this playthrough I fucking suffered.
Pros: classical formula, beautiful backgrounds, Rebecca's ass, two persons at once mechanic is kinda interesting, more of the same (RE1).
Cons: "leave items everywhere" doesn't work that great, fucking leeches mang, terribad (but not in a good way like in RE1) writing & VO, less of the same (RE1), whiny protagonist, mwahaha villain:
Special mention: bland & irritating puzzles.
"I hope you remembered to fill a bottle with mysterius liquid 5 hours ago, or it's backtracking time!"
"I hope you like watching longass animations of your fags exchanging items via dumbwaiter 78 times..."
"I hope you like reading 3 lines of explanations every time you interact with shit during a puzzle."
