One of the very few times I've seen Velkhana's flinch retaliation attack, where she starts to flinch, but retaliates with her ice breath. And the only time I've successfully dealt enough damage to her during the animation to trigger a topple. It's not scripted, per-se, but I'm pretty sure all monsters that have similar attacks are coded to topple if you manage to hit them hard enough during those animations. It's like an ingame version of this classic image macro:

The original Europa Barbarorum, I can recognize that one at a glance
Some branch of the Third Age mod, personally I like Divide and Conquer best but there's others too; can't tell from the screenshots which branch you're playing
For King or Country, the English Civil War mod... or it could be 1648, the 30 Years War mod

Yes, it was the good old original "Europa Barbarorum"... I should play another campaign when I have some time.

If I have to be honest, I have had those screenshots for years in my Steam account, so I don't remember which branch of "Third Age" I was using

And yes, the last screenshots are from "1648 - Thirty Years of War"

Peril

I've downloaded this mod to test it with Ironwail port of Quake. This is a really impressive piece of work, when it comes to the size of the maps and shuffling different themes together in a good, coherent way. I feel like being on a huge adventure trip, where you never know what's coming up next. When it comes to difficulty, it's balanced well enough. You can die easily when you encounter some bigger group of monsters, but most of the time you will prevail. I am currently on Mayflower level. I wonder how many of them are left.

Oh, and Ironwail is excellent when it comes to fluidity, even on a massive maps. It automatically found my Quake folder from Steam, and after changing some video settings was good to go.

Lost Labyrinth. A free roguelike with a big number of character perks to choose from.

Tho i don't like it when games front-load you with this amount of options right at the very beginning so i went with the premade illiterate warrior.

Kinda meh honestly. Roguelikes are really not my genre and this game didn't make it into my list of exceptions.

Not really. The demo is very barren.
Like, it gives you four premade characters and 4 or so combat encounters to go through. That's it.

Finally finished Peril. A flawed, but still amazing piece of work. The only level that really tested my patience was the "Maze". I knew it from the start that this will be a tough nut to crack, but you can really loose a sense of direction, if you aren't paying attention. Really long and satisfying (that's what she said!).

Banners of Ruin, pretty sweet roguelite similar to Slay the Spire (with a hint of Trials of Fire) except it has slightly more RPG elements and you can control multiple chars.
