Then you possesed her patient's body, find levitating Bowie's skull and start another journey, somewhere.
Man, is there any end?

I don't get whether we're meant to have fought on board the Mantis ship or beamed down to some shitty planet's arena for the battle. I'm just gonna imagine it took place on the ship because a travelling Mantis arena is the coolest thing ever.

Never got this encounter before. No idea what would happen without a Rockman, but that's probably for the best.

Hey zwanzig_zwoelf, what were your impressions on Summoner? It was just released on Steam and I wishlisted it but some opinions would be good.
I beat the game and enjoyed it. For $2.99 on Steam it's a fucking steal.
I'd write you a longer impression, but I just woke up and wanted to keep it spoiler-free.

*Lot's of pictures...*
Boy, oh boy, this game is just... like... A CALL OF DUTY-STYLE CORRIDOR SHOOTER WITH CUTSCENES EVERY FUCKING 5 SECONDS AND POPAMOLE COMBAT.
And that's, like, in 1996.

Holy crap, what have I done.
:lol::lol:

EDIT: Forgot to mention the health system that was ripped off by Halo.

I have a boxed copy at home in nice condition if you can't get enough! Remember forcing my self to play this crap since you only got a new game every 6 months...

Legend of Aetherus runs just fine on max settings on my PC, however, it still looks worse than anything I've ever seen:

This game is an overflowing fountain of wrongness. The mid-90s were a weird period. People remember them too fondly; there was a lot of experimentation with bad shooters and those horrible multiple-CD ROM "interactive movies" trying to create a "cinematic experience". They even had their version of QTEs. Fortunately, PCs and production budgets were not yet ready for them, and these games were forgotten for a while. But they laid the groundwork for the severely damaging trends in modern gaming.
I don't really mind experiments.
But when I tried this game I had a strong feeling of déjà vu. I felt like I'm playing a mix of: Call of Duty/Almost any modern FPS (ultra-linear level design that punishes you for even slightly moving off desired path, tons of scripted events), Halo (health system), Biohazard 6 (cutscenes every 2 minutes), Mass Effect (primary weapon cooldown, don't remember any other games with similar mechanic), and all this shit is stuffed into a Wolf3D-style game. Maybe there were something else, but that's what I recall from first 30 minutes. It really feels like almost all modern game designers worship this game.

Speaking of "interactive movies", I sort of enjoyed some of those adventure games. D had a pretty cool atmosphere, but that single QTE battle almost turned me into a madman.
I still think this game cannot be adequately explained by anything short of time travel.

Chains of Satinav has sexy backgrounds. The story isn't all that bad either, the puzzles weren't retarded, either, quite often you kinda knew what you were doing and what result that might give (unlike in MANY adventure games). All in all, not too bad if you like adventure games

Hey ZiZi, what were your impressions on Summoner? It was just released on Steam and I wishlisted it but some opinions would be good.
Definitely worth the few euro(or-not)bucks, if you like action RPGs.
Good music (soon it will be remastered!), characters that's not bunch of morons (even peasant Joseph, who want to finish this shit and live like ordinary dairy farmer), plot was interesting, same to story. Also - ending. You will know which one...
Combat work somewhat better on console (both first and sequel) but nothing to rage increase.

Mace Rape Squad game
Is it better than Two Worlds 1/2? Less wonkiiness, animations, looting etc.?

Disciples III? I refuse to brofist that. Even I have standards. :x
What's wrong? You don't like my guilty pleasure?
:martini:

Played D3 on release. Was terrible. I hear the recent expansion fixed things though?
I've heard the latest 'expansion' fixed a lot of things, but it's available only on GamersGate, and when I checked it for the last time, it was like 30 bux or so. I would never pay 30 bux even for a fixed version.
So I'm stuck with Renaissance for now.

EDIT: It's on Steam since Feb 14, for $17.99. Wait until it goes on sale, if you wanna try it.
