Some Severance till Dark Souls is sorted out. Getting some bad screen tearing, anyone know the optimal graphics settings on OpenGL?

BoD hates V-Sync disabled on newer cards.

Look man, even if you remap the controls to the keyboard, the on screen prompt doesn't change the label to your keyboard keys.
You're pretty much have to have a gamepad for this lazy port to be playable. (BUT RK47! THE DEVS HONESTLY ADMITTED THAT THEY'RE LAZY ABOUT PORTING IT BEFORE RELEASE SO ITS TOTALLY OKAY MAN)

Apparently varies, though it sounds like it works for most people. My buddy had all kinds of trouble with it though, dunno what the hell he was doing differently.

Program you wanna use is apparently MotionInJoy or something along those lines. No personal experience on my end.

Installed nGlide and patched BoD to 1.001 but the nGlide option won't appear in the drop down menu.

Meh, Severance is just a pure action games with good combat, not very far from Rune or Die by the Sword. Demons & Dark Souls are such deeper and superior games that such comparisson is really pointless...

There is no irony, I'm not trying to sound edgy and get KKK, I'm just enjoying my games man.

I always heard about the Tales series, how Tales of the Abyss is the best in the series but it's too much "cute" for "serious gamers". I've been playing for some hours now, and clearly it's a solid game with great character development, that is sadly overlooked due it's art style.

Well bro it's kinda like saying "How can you hate Skyrim then like Gothic 2 with a straight face"?

Somewhat similar concepts can differ a lot in terms of execution.

Nothing against DS in particular. I was absent from teh interwebs for 2 weeks and when I popped back I was surprised to see so many BoD shots because I expected endless DS spam. That game never got the kind of popularity it deserved.

It's weird. I thought DS looked great when I watched consoleshit videos because it had a certain worn-out, muted look to it.

But now that I see it in all it's majestic sharpness and colorfulness it looks like just another worthless generic fantasy game.

Dark Souls is a beautiful game and you are looking at what is probably the brightest image it carries. Pictures really cannot capture the atmosphere, though. And I do mean atmosphere, because the game carries this sort of weight on its shoulders that is hard to describe. An oppressive, unending mood of depression, lifelessness, of lost humanity. Its aesthetic narrative is strong and consistent and meshes perfectly with the gameplay.
