Mira Thollban, Paladin of Sune, was in a foul mood. Not only had The Huntmaster of Hulberg (A ProphetSword production for FRUA) stolen the holy artifact Stormblade from the Temple, but even worse - she had absolutely no armour to wear that day that matched her new lipstick.

The Huntsmaster was obviously gay, for he was neither a gentleman nor distracted by the Lawful Stupid woman's attributes.

Stranglehold is a perfect example of copying someone elses idea, and adding some new elements from the well known title. Max Payne bullet time is obligatory, but it's more arcade, less noir and doesn't take itself so seriously. Still, it's fun and challenging when you have to look out for upcoming reinforcements of bad guys. The added powers that you can activate through filling the green bar is fun as hell. It has still one of the best destruction physics I've seen, only Red Faction: Guerrila is better at this. Sadly, the sequel was cancelled due to the Midway going bankrupt. Shame, having Chow Yun Fat delivering the one liners, riding on the carts while gun blazing and shooting bad guys would be great.

Even though their games were now quite up my alley, I must admire Cinemaware for having such a distinct style that I can recognize it even though their only game I played was Defender of the Crown.

Cinemaware games are truly gorgeous, especially the Amiga versions. I like how this release includes both the Dos and Amiga versions of these games. I would be a far bigger fan of buying ex-abandonware if more publishers did this.

Jaesun is final boss. You beat him via QTE. How unsurprising.

Totally would if I had no need to shave.

Plowing through my "smart" IG playthrough on AoD.

:shredder:

My character kills all but two of the enemy before she goes down to excessive bleeding damage. I get this as a death screen:

:rage:

I was hoping for something a little more.. heroic.

Well played, Vault Dweller. :D

I guess you can't throw some AA on it? Because good god, those edges.
