Great game. I'm liking it even more now than when I played it the last time, which was some 15 years ago. Soundtrack is kickass, more upbeat versions of classic songs and some killer new tunes as well. Gameplay is a mix of older style and newer style Castlevania (i.e. you can jump on stairs and moonwalk, but no directional whip), bosses are great. Overall just an outstanding example of early 90s videogame awesomeness, it's a lost art. Konami is dead.

Third time I play through the Bonehoard, and only now did I notice Felix's clue that its music soothes the Burricks in the nearby cave.
I used to just slaughter them with Fire Arrows.
BTW, I wonder how many taffers got stuck in the little room behind the caved in section of the Alarus family tomb?
