When it came to promoting somebody to sniper class, the choice was p. obvious:

There's also a new interesting class - fencer. These niggas are the best call when you have to kill more than one enemy without wasting APs:
Two other units are able to do the same: gunners (these aren't that great IMO due to high "dispersion" of their shots) and units armed with flamethrowers (esp. vehicles kick ass, due to high range of their flamers):
Plus, some types of vehicles (APCs) can traverse long distances. For example here:
I was able to reach the destined point (SW corner) simply by running over all 4 lancers (no reaction fire) and avoiding AT Turret. OFC I wouldn't be able to survive even 1/10 of enemy turn, but it simply didn't happen. :D
Destroying enemy tanks is as always all about butt-fucking them:
Frontal attack can take over 10 shots, and they are able to kill almost everything with reaction fire or during their turn (direct attack).
As for the (often crticized) story...

Same as in VC1, I'm rolling with 99% female unit, so when I finally realized what these "titles" I was reciving after missions were really for (prefix / suffix), the choice was simple:
