Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy

And with that, the American Revolt ends.

Congratulations. In the 23 years since the American Revolt has been released, I've only ever heard of 3 people that have completed it.

The first one was an autistic-level guy here in Iceland, who completed it in early 1995.

The second one was Ninja Destroyer (his autism rating is still pending ;) )

And now a winner is you.

Had a look at "witcher 1 geralt" on google images, definitely looks shitter than he does in those screens. I could be wrong though.

Made on an engine that was already dated crap back when it was released and yet it still looks pretty fucking awesome today.
:outrage:
Pretty sure that's because the screens are of modded Witcher. Looks way better than I remember.

Only three mods. One is FPS Counter and Post Processing Effects. I used it to add Ambient Occlussion (a hit or miss, sometimes it looks great, others not so much, but overall adds depth to the graphics and is a MASSIVE improvement for the swampy areas with lots of vegetation), as well as to tweak the color and contrast to my liking. The other is Geralt Face Retexture (Face from The Witcher 3). Though this is really up to opinion, I'm playing one of the adventures right now and I'm using the vanilla face as I think it fits the character better. And from The Witcher Texture Overhaul I'm using the blood, and the sky/clouds/sun/moon/background landscape textures.

Still, I agree with DraQ: the game was made on an engine that looked like shit and with JUST AO it looks far, far better than say Skyrim (I'm not joking). It is quite possibly (at times) the best looking 3D game I've ever played. Its beauty reminds me a lot of Gothic II's.

Pictured are two more mods: the Scabbard mod, which can be a bit buggy during dialogue (the sheaths appear floating depending on the angle), and I'm trying out different mods that change Witcher eyes.
