Bosses were either good or nothing special (first two bosses on the swamps aka Valley of Defilement) and some had atrocious runbacks - heard stories about one for final boss and turns out people were right. It was garbage.
Old Hero runback was nasty due to laser spammers in the narrow corridors/staircases (and 3 grim reapers respawning them over and over again).
Then there's Old (False) King - two dragons with a that does not render flame properly (you get demolished every time by the bloom on the flames), two death knights, tanky spellcasters (fat officials) and at the end - long elevator ride).

Not a fan of replaying games, but surely try magic (or 1-handed and magic) playthrough somewhere in the future to see how busted it is. IIRC it can easily destroy dragons. From what I've seen raising Int/Magic raise spell power? Something that's not in Dark Souls trilogy?

Why is it so blurry?
that's either Prepare to Die Edition or mod restoring PtDE graphics and this is how it looks.

Nox actually still has a very active multiplayer. I was surprised as hell when I checked it out last year or so. The bad news is that the people playing it have probably a million hours clocked so you'll get creamed all the time.

I completed Twilight Town.

Short as hell but it costed peanuts on steam sale and the game kinda expects you to complete it thrice.
Once on a normal mode. Another on a hard mode in which you're dual wielding every gun(turns boss fights into a joke).

And for the last on a one-shot mode in which everything dies in one hit(including bosses) but all of your weapons are replaced with a single knife.

You get a cutscene that shows you a bunch of fanarts and a shitton of references towards games i have no interest in playing.
Overall, i think this GZDoom-based game is neat.

The atmosphere in this game is unreal.

I think, all things considered (gameplay, atmosphere, story, main character), this may be shaping up to be one of my favorite games of all time.
Yesterday it hit me while I was about to go to bed, after clearing out a hotel of hostile soldiers: this game is John Wick: Augmentation. And it kind of makes sense, because John Wick feels a lot like Deus Ex. A superhuman character that uses stealth, speech, awesome takedowns and a lot of gunfighting with different weapons, who travels around the globe in search for somebody and for answers. A bit of conspiracy here and there.
