If you :troll: Dratha by telling her you have the amulet for her quest when you don't she'll flip her shit and kill you. Or try to, depending on how hardcore you are.

Divayth Fyr and the new guy were always the only Televani Councilors alive left anyway. BTW why make NPCs essential if them being just protected (they can't die from falling or dragons but can die from PC steel poisoning) works as well? New Bethpizda developers are sure lazy.

I made a dumb fucking video, I'll warn you, this is 43 seconds you'll wish you had back:

By the way, exploring Solstheim is pretty fun.

But why?
It's hard to explain. But I felt compelled to. After all, it's not every day that the message "Todd's Syndrome added" appears in the top-left corner, followed by an enormous growth and accompanying seizure-dance.

I have all but completed the Dragonborn content and it's been pretty fun. I love Neloth and his commentary on game mechanics:

99% of people talking how "video games are legit art" never seen a piece of art in their whole lives and don't give a shit about "watching paintings" etc. otherwise.

Why are they so fixated on it? It has to be art for them or it's otherwise, what, worthless? ffs
Video games are THE art of the XXIth century, just as cinema was for the XXth or novel was for the XIXth, deal with it. It doesn't mean that all video games are art, of course, but neither are every movie or every novel.

Should I miss something in Dragonborn if I try to run it before completing OC? Been watching art for Morrowind and it make Skyrim even moded and :incline:ed looking droll and bland almost as Oblivion. :x
Remember that you have to complete the first few Skyrim Main Quest quests (The Way of the Voice) before Dragonborn starts.

No, you do not miss anything. Some dialogue is altered depending on how much of the Main Quest you've played. The things going on on Solstheim are separate stuff from what's going on in Skyrim, and the only thing you need to know is what a Dragonborn is.

Also, installing DLC and then being attacked by assassins was done in Tribunal 11 years ago and it's still a horrible design choice to an open-world "go wherever you want, play whatever faction/questline you want"-game.

I guess they do it that way because they don't know where in the world/storyline you are. They still should add a check so you aren't attacked in the middle of whiterun, though. Having twelve guards gang up on the assassins makes the encounter more "WTF just happened" than intended.

They Attacked me in Iverstaad just after meeting with Grey Beards; shame on CK for using popamole mechanism like a Oblivion style fast travel, shame. In Skyrim atleast they wait for PC to be recognized as Dragonborn; those DB assassins attacking me day after landing in Vandarfell was :retarded: WTF :retarded: moment. Only two persons who knew I can be Neverarine was Emprah himself and His private Secretary.

They design their expansions as being added to an already lengthy playthrough, which is shortsighted of them. It would only take a couple minor changes to make them work better on a new playthrough, but Bethesda seem resistant to giving a shit.

I still would prefer the Bloodmoon approach, with rumors about something going on on Solstheim or whatever. The "in your face"-approach of Tribunal, Dawnguard and Dragonborn is just childish - if you buy the DLC, you'll know that you get Solstheim. And if you play for the first time with all DLC enabled, it's no different from the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood. You don't get attacked or messaged by them, you find them by hearing rumors, like any other questline in the game. ...OK, Brynjolf initiates dialogue with you when you enter Riften, but at least he doesn't search you out in every city or sends hitmen after you.

Furthermore, you being attacked should have merit. At least the cultists in Dragonborn waits until you've been named Dragonborn.

Ridiculously fast after you've been named Dragonborn, but still.

Yes. They also designed Skyrim to be fully completed on one character. That's why a part of the Gauldur Amulet is locked away in a College of Winterhold-dungeon, why you are forced to join the College to complete the Main Quest without metagaming(!), why you're forced to join almost every faction to find all the gems of Barenziah...

I have no idea why they do it. I understand being kid-friendly and making it possible to do everything on one character, but locking away stuff which forces you to join factions in order to complete stuff unrelated to said faction? That's just retarded.

I also got attacked in Ivarstead straight after meeting Graybeards. It got me thinking how did the cultists wearing freaky masks ask for directions?:S

I don't have argument with this; Dawnguard starts when you hit 10 level when you should be proficient with neither blade or Sorcery to survive the fights with Vampires. As to Dragon Cults Assasins: They Heard about Greybeards shouting DOVAHIN! and checked the first of few people walking down the 7000 steps. Proficient, Logical, Efficient and much better done than Tribunal DB attacks. :incline:
