Remember that boat we sunk?

Dispatching two daedras in ten seconds. Guess I can take on the world now.

02.jpg

Two Daedric warhammers. Jesus. These things weight a ton. Not gonna bother heading into the shrine. Probably rape inside.

03.jpg

Anyways, it's payback time. I nearly forgot about this quest. Just off the coast of Solitude.

04.jpg

Trip was uneventful, just a bunch of trash bandits.

05.jpg

Nearly forgot, the Daedric artifact, Mehrune's Razor is a dagger. Obviously not an ideal end-game weapon since dagger has no specialized perk in the One Handed tree, but it does have 1% chance to instantly slay anything it hits. Might be worth it to slap on a follower.

Anyways, on to the ass kicking. I like this dungeon. Nice architecture.

Half-assed quest, that. Not even an option to pretend to work with the scoundrels or to rat them out to the authorities.

Found a decent shield finally.

07.jpg

Thanks for the adventure, lizard.
Having nothing much left to do in Solitude, I decided to settle loose ends elsewhere.
Windhelm, in particular has a murderer on the loose.

08.jpg

09.jpg

10.jpg

11.jpg

Not much to follow up on.

12.jpg

Mind if I do some investigation of my own?

13.jpg

Castle Windhelm.
14.jpg

I return to the scene of the crime. It appears they've moved the body.

15.jpg

Odd. Was she running away from her assailant with that much blood pouring out of her?

16.jpg

A check with the local tender of the dead reveals that the victim's wounds were caused by a particular type of blade.

17.jpg

18.jpg

There's nothing else to do here. Time to follow the blood trails.

19.jpg

20.jpg

Trail stops at this house. It's locked. I can't pick it.

21.jpg

She wasn't killed by the murderer. The civil war took her. Though her last name does remind me of someone I should know, but I can't quite place it.

22.jpg

Alright, I'll talk to her then. I head out for the Shatter-shield's residence. Strangely, I have the key to this house.

"Anyone home?"

23.jpg

A body. But there's no one else in the house. Could it be?

24.jpg

It seems to be Tova. But why? No signs of mutilations. The letter on the ground might provide some clue.

25.jpg

26.jpg

Nilsine.

12.jpg

04.jpg

I did this.

Murderer

No time for regrets. I've a murderer to catch.

01.jpg

The trail of blood stops at this house. Tova's key fits the lock.

02.jpg

No one's here. But the blood stained chest caught my eye.

03.jpg

04.jpg

05.jpg

A stack of pamphlets and a journal.

08.jpg

Seems like the killer is stalking this Viola or wants to stop the circulation. I flip through the journal.

06.jpg

07.jpg

A necromancer is on the loose.

09.jpg

10.jpg

Hm..

11.jpg

Ugh.

12.jpg

That settles it.

13.jpg

A second journal lies on the altar.

14.jpg

15.jpg

I leave the foul room and search a small shelf on the other end of the hall.

16.jpg

Lots of brochures, but upon closer inspection, an amulet lies below the pile.

17.jpg

18.jpg

A jade skull inscription. A nearby shelf holds several curved blades.

19.jpg

Embalming tools, of course. I leave the house confident that I've found the murderer's hiding place - but there's no name to pin on. I better ask the steward, perhaps he knows more of this necklace.

20.jpg

Right, time to visit that antique dealer.

01.jpg

A skull amulet as an heirloom? Seriously?

02.jpg

No. Not yet. Perhaps after the investigation. The shopkeeper mentions that this amulet tends to belong to court mages. Hmm. Doesn't Castle Windhelm has one?

03.jpg

Strange place to leave your necklace at. But the house does seem securely locked. Could it be this 'Wuunferth' is behind the murders?

04.jpg

Anyway, you have quite a collection here. You mentioned a tour?

05.jpg

Great, show me around then.

06.jpg

07.jpg

Why is it called the book of Fate?

08.jpg

Really? Let me see...

09.jpg

It's... blank?

10.jpg

A likely story.

11.jpg

But... it's a fork?

12.jpg

Whatever. What about this lute?

13.jpg

Oh, what does it do? Summon a dragon?

14.jpg

Right.

15.jpg

Thank you for your time, Calixto. How did you assemble all this collection anyway?

16.jpg

Oh, where's your sister?

17.jpg

Ah. I see. Farewell, Calixto.
With that, I'm sure who the culprit is. I just need to make sure.

18.jpg

Well, I've heard you dabbled in necromancy.

19.jpg

So you're from Winterhold, eh? Lost an amulet recently? A necromantic amulet perhaps?

20.jpg

21.jpg

Wuunferth denies owning the amulet and he's willing to prove it by helping me catch the real killer.

22.jpg

23.jpg

Alright. This better not be a set up.

24.jpg

This is a very powerful amulet. It increases the wearer's magicka but reduces their health and stamina regeneration.

Killing for an Art
It's dark. You are likely to be raped by a knife.

01.jpg

The murders can't possibly be committed by Wuunferth, although the background fits. The amount of blood leading to that abandoned house convinced me it's someone without magical training who committed the murder. It was too clumsy.

As for him evading arrest for so long, I can only blame the Stormcloaks being more concerned with the war than murders happening in their city.

As I walk past the cemetery into the marketplace, I can hear a cry for help.

02.jpg

One of the stall owners of the market is doing a late night closing - someone is chasing her. I fired a light spell at their direction, catching the killer by surprise.

03.jpg

I knew it. It fits. The embalming tool collection. Your presence at the scene of the crime. And your sudden interest in purchasing the amulet. Your amulet. Whether you killed your sister or not does not matter. My only surprise was you being so brazen to put your murder weapons on full display. Are you going to come quietly?

04.jpg

Didn't think so.

05.jpg

Take this trash away.

06.jpg

Jorleif hands me a bag of coin and thanked me for a job well-done.

07.jpg

A well deserved training and rest later...

08.jpg

I seem to have stumbled upon a company of a writer.

09.jpg

Oh, what's your later work?

12.jpg

Solitude, eh? This is gonna be a high risk delivery. I'll take it.

21.jpg

I'm sure I'm still a wanted fugitive in Solitude, but as long as I remain unseen, the guards won't be a worry.

22.jpg

A dose of invisibility potion should do the trick. Let's hope none of the guards patrol inside the Bard's College.

23.jpg

No problems at all.

24.jpg

Hey, I'm here for a delivery. Also, are you open for application?

25.jpg

Oh, do tell.

26.jpg

How do we do that?

27.jpg

So this is where I come in.

28.jpg

Then that is where I will go next, after I make this delivery.

29.jpg

I make a quiet tour in the college before setting off.

31.jpg

Seems like a bunch of artfags if you ask me. Still, some employment is nice, work's all dried up at Windhelm.

32.jpg

To Dead Man's respite I go, I ran out of Solitude side gate and make my way to the carriage.

33.jpg

... I surrender. This arrow.

34.jpg

Adventure awaits.

Alright gonna just highlight the dungeon finale.
I find that most draugr fights were easy now that I have mastered the Dawnbreaker.
If you guys still want to see a screen-by-screen walkthrough before the exciting parts - do tell. I don't mind doing that.
I'd probably just record the run and just re-cap the early parts again.

i knew that guy was the killer

these quests are pretty fucking boring. just connecting dots, and there are like three dots at most, and a dotted line is already drawn between them. mmo quest structure.

Find Cassius Cossades is harder.

Spirit of the bard that haunts the crypt. Apparently King Olaf did something bad to him. Imprisoned him or something.
I'll do the dungeon screen caps tonight to clarify.

Due to his fame, Olaf was eventually named High King of Skyrim. However, his reign, which started in 1E 420 and lasted 32 years, saw its share of controversy. Notably, the bard Svaknir wrote a scathing verse decrying him as a fraud and a tyrant. Olaf responded by imprisoning the bard and destroying every copy of the verse which could be found.

Shit. This is tricky. The guards will attack me on sight. OK, I'll meet you at the castle tonight. MIDNIGHT.

This LP is rapidly depleting my sanity meter RK47...
And I don't mind it one bit... MOAR

Bro, you have no idea how late i slept every night.
The first time I tested the Estrus shout, I thought the timer meant seconds. Of course I set the animation to 20 seconds. Cause default 6 seconds is too short.
So the tentacles come out and 20 seconds are up.
A minute passed....
AAaaaaaAaaaaaaahh

:mhd:

Something's wrong.
Yeah.
I know.
But... it's.. it's good?
Ahh ahhh ahhh ichauuu~ *tentacles spreads PC's legs'*

Should we fap?
I don't know.
You're still watching instead of stopping..
The townspeople are gathering around her.
O.
My.
God.
Steamchat LundB. Nao.
Iyaaa iaaaaaaaaa *tentacles enters and exits repeatedly*

:hmmm:

There's liquid coming out of her...
Damn I missed it.
It's starting again. See ! See!
...we are having a boner.
OK guise. That's enough.
Yes. Let's fap.
15 minutes later...

It seems we have discovered the problem.
Yes. Damn Japanese modder.
No you did not pay attention, Steve
Shut up RK
Let's see... 60 'seconds' my ass.. It's 60 times.
But it was good.
No it isn't.
It wasn't?
It's 2 am and we have to work tomorrow.
D'OH!

All that Work...
After a night of orgy and hard partying with bottles of spiced wine...

01.jpg

Looks like we're a bard. What the hell does a bard do anyway?
That's what I was wondering when I completed this initiation. I was excited. I never really thought about it much. I guess I'll travel around a lot and sing, huh?

But no. That would be too interesting and out of the norm for Bethesda.

02.jpg

:hearnoevil:

05.jpg

:neveraskedforthis:
I ran out of Solitude, resisting the urge to murder them on the spot and boarded the first carriage out to Riften.
A feeling of ennui overwhelm me once more. That's when I stumbled upon a heavily armored woman muttering something about the damnable thieves guild.

00.jpg

Excuse me, mind telling me about the Thieves' Guild?

01.jpg

02.jpg

Somehow, I am inclined to agree with her. The Dark Brotherhood had Astrid, and the Thieves' Guild had Mercer Frey. A company of assassins and thieves aren't exactly the ones that you'd rely upon to watch your back.

"I agree completely," I replied without reservation.

03.jpg

"Why are you here in Riften?"

04.jpg

05.jpg

"Well you're fortunate you're dealing with an expert on Dwemer ruins. Tell me where it is, and I might just be able to get it back for you."

A look of doubt is written across her face, but she senses my determination and relented.

06.jpg

"It's no trouble, Mjoll. I live for the danger."

She's right though, the Dwemer ruins is no joke. It took the three of us, me, Kharliah and Brynjof to defeat a Colossus, the same monster that nearly killed Mjoll. I'm gonna need some muscles. And I just know where to get them.

07.jpg

08.jpg

11.jpg

Show me your ruthlessness.

10.jpg

With two of these initiates in tow, I ride to Mzinchaleft.

12.jpg

A bandit camp surrounding the ruins tells me there will be more within.

13.jpg

14.jpg

15.jpg

We dispatch them with no trouble.

16.jpg

17.jpg

18.jpg

It appears they are trying to get deeper into the ruins as well. Too bad we ruined their party.

19.jpg

The Dwemer spider-bots is as annoying as remembered, nearly impervious to arrows, these little buggers go out with a bang, often hurting everyone in melee when it dies.

20.jpg

The steam-belching Sphere-bot is no joke, capable of breathing fire and packs a mean crossbow.

21.jpg

Thankfully, our collective might is enough to overcome these challenges.

22.jpg

That's some serious loot.

23.jpg

Entry to deeper level found.

24.jpg

Welcome to Falmer country. Or I affectionately call it, target range. The Falmers are a disappointing bunch, blind and nearly unarmored, a decent marksman can dispatch them from the shadows without too much trouble.

25.jpg

26.jpg

A pity that these mysterious ruins aren't filled with more lore of its past.

27.jpg

Caution must be taken however when the Chaurus shows up. One splash of its spit and it will impregnate you.

28.jpg

Their eggs are quite valuable as a reagent.

29.jpg

And finally, we found ourselves at the final chamber.

Job well done

01.jpg

Good job, now return to the Sanctuary. I have no more need of you.

Later, at Riften...
02.jpg

03.jpg

Nah, I don't think I need you. It'll make it too easy. Thanks for the offer anyway, Mjoll.

04.jpg

One of the bard's instrument is held in a cave just north of Riften. That's where I'm headed to next.

05.jpg

Looks like this is the place.

06.jpg

A dead body. Probably a victim.

07.jpg

I follow the passage behind the corpse.

08.jpg

Those bandits never stood a chance.

09.jpg

Backs turned on me.

10.jpg

Got the Lute.

11.jpg

Last one... hmmm.

12.jpg

Wait. Let's rape.

13.jpg

14.jpg

15.jpg

Assume the position, dog.

16.jpg

17.jpg

Not so tough now are you?

18.jpg

How does it feel to take it from the ass, huh?

19.jpg

The bandit gritted his teeth and grunts. His pride won't let him scream out.

20.jpg

I don't give a damn.

21.jpg

Going to turn in your destroyed ass for bounty.

22.jpg

Windhelm
23.jpg

24.jpg

Only a hundred? That's just sad. The guard decides to delay the execution for a moment, tormenting the captured bandit with a not-so-private moment.

25.jpg

Man, he looks pissed. When she finished, the drew her ax and kills him in one swing.

Does the Bears shit in the Woods?
01.jpg

The next instrument is located near Falkreath.

02.jpg

The city guard definitely came from China.

03.jpg

Feeling tired, I decided to rest at the inn before continuing my journey.

Morning comes and I feel ... frustrated,
04.jpg

05.jpg

This is so wrong.

06.jpg

I am like a man trapped in a body of a woman.

07.jpg

Hnnngh.

08.jpg

Sweet release.

09.jpg

10.jpg

I'll keep an eye out.

11.jpg

13.jpg

14.jpg

15.jpg

Three of what?

16.jpg

17.jpg

Hold still.

18.jpg

19.jpg

20.jpg

I'll do it. You stay here.

21.jpg

22.jpg

Spriggans somewhat odd opponents. They have no range attack save for their stamina draining attack. Their armor is pretty light, but they have very high regeneration.

23.jpg

It is highly unlikely that a single arrow would do the job, and they can invoke their powers to turn invisible for a short moment, making ranged combat slightly tricky.

24.jpg

But the lack of direct ranged damage is their undoing. Just stay calm and have a stamina potion ready in hand.

25.jpg

Found one of the dead hunters.

26.jpg

Fed a bear some iron.

27.jpg

That's the last one. But I better clear the cave of the spriggans.

28.jpg

Sometimes, spriggans can also cloak themselves inside a tree. Nasty surprise for melee characters.

29.jpg

Thankfully the Nightingale Blade is more than a match.

30.jpg

31.jpg

He gave me a shitty dagger.
