You're all shills

BG III buried this game, but fair play to them for having integrity and sticking with UI, portraits (even though I think it's fugly and sterile).
Gameplay system was implemented in a good manner. Encounter design was enjoyable. Except for the orcs. That encounter was pretty uninteresting. Surely they could have thrown a spell caster or some sort of ranged user to spice things up. In my opinion, spiders were the most entertaining enemies to face. They could climb walls, throw ranged attacks at you, and poison you.
>I doubt they will add anymore class other than sorcerer
A shame, a real shame. Still, that won't stop me from buying the game and being amused by it. I probably won't invest as many hours as I plan to do with Wrath. Nor will I be as enthusiastic with learning the rule set.
I wish it wasn't full voiced and that budget was used for something else. The dialogues/banters are pretty short and uninteresting, I just don't see the need for it to be fully voiced :/
Not everyone has the haute couture aesthetics of a Bulgarian cellophane tape. They'll be fine. There's a difference between integrity and self-sabotage.
This was supposed to be Bulgarian cello player.Bulgarian cellophane tape
Maybe, but that UI triggers me and if I ever buy this game it will be with a steep discount, as opposed to day 1. Well, it's not only the UI, it's also the Unity assets overall look if they haven't worked extensively to fix that. I'm sure they don't care, but I'm just saying. Not everyone has the haute couture aesthetics of a Bulgarian cellophane tape. They'll be fine. There's a difference between integrity and self-sabotage.
Consider me a bit paranoid, but right now it seems you deliberately want to somehow sabotage this thread? Some pages ago you tried to shit on this game without even reading about 5e ruleset and more experienced people (and people who can use google to learn about 5e rules) managed to curb your autism enough to put debate at rest. But later you returned with "awesome" stories how you was popular in school and employing dirty media tactic (repeating information ad nauseum) to complain about UI.Maybe, but that UI triggers me and if I ever buy this game it will be with a steep discount, as opposed to day 1. Prepare you ass, because people who didn't liked UI in Age of Decadence is coming for you. Also an indie game -

Ugly UI, huh? Try to play Geneforge series and Solasta's UI would look like masterpiece in comparison (not that Solasta's UI is somehow bad, but still) Anyway dev already answered you, but you still trying your hard to blow "UI problem" out of proportion. Look, man, you can be " graphics connoisseur" (dangerously close to graphics whore) as much as you like it, but threaten devs in "No good UI - no buy" gets you nowhere in this case and just annoys people.
I have my own ideas about UI improvements, but UI is just like any graphical elements - just package for "candy" aka gameplay and etc. Having a good package is nice, but it doesn't helps if candy inside is shit.
Not to mention that UI can be fixed with mods, while for gameplay elements it's not always the case.
Time will tell if Solasta is good or bad.
Right, and what was its development time again? Also an indie game -

Even if I mistaken you for someone else - rest of the post stands corrected. What?
The fact that some games have even more misplaced thematically and/or shittier UI doesn't excuse this one, mate.Even if I mistaken you for someone else - rest of the post stands corrected. What?
You make me proud, little vixen.they either must be purged, sent to reeducation campsor corrected at every opportunity.
It's not my fault people want to defend this catastrophe of a UI, so they either must be purged, sent to reeducation camps or corrected at every opportunity.
No it's absolutely yours fault, you shouldn't be so butthurt about UI in computer game. It's not my fault people want to defend this catastrophe of a UI
You should judge a video game for what it is and the UI is part of that. Stop being such a fanboy. No it's absolutely yours fault, you shouldn't be so butthurt about UI in computer game. It's not my fault people want to defend this catastrophe of a UI
I played demo second time specially after saw some comments on UI and did NOT find this UI not as half horrible as Lacrymas said in his posts. You should judge a video game for what it is and the UI is part of that. Stop being such a fanboy.
Nah, but insistence on it not mattering when judging a game does. Also, personal preferences in UI counts now as fanboism? With this logic you and Lacrymas can be a "haters", just because you didn't liked UI.You should judge a video game for what it is and the UI is part of that. Stop being such a fanboy.
Btw, it's hilarious to read accusations in fanboism from member of Disco Elysium fanbase.
You forgot the third essential purpose: to fit within the visual design of the game and to complement its aesthetic.A User Interface has two purposes in a cRPG:
>To convey information
>Keep the player informed
