And here's an example of how this compound can be very useful tool to progress in the game. For example, if you need a door opened...

SW-knock-out-to-steal.gif

If someone sees you while you are spilling the liquid, they can turn hostile (depends on the reputation), but if you make sure you are not detected by anyone (AND there are no space suit guys around) then you can lull to sleep full room of people and then just pick their pockets while they are catching their ZZZ-s. Gas dissipates almost immediately but people keep sleeping - until you wake them up. This is quite a pacifistic way to deal with problems.

Unfortunately, this is not a very common item and you must be careful not to be seen when using it. And remember that anyone in a spacesuit is safe; and robots, of course, too. Btw, that is also the reason why you did not knock yourself out - if you didn't have your spacesuit on, you'd be out like rest of them.

Space toilets are working now!

And it's not just for fluff - you get +5 temp buff to your carry capacity! If you have undressed, you can take a shower as well, which grants +1 temp bonus to your CHARM. Which can come in handy if NPC usually avoid talking to you.

And that's not all of it, if you want, you can take a look inside. You probably should not though.

What happens if you press the "Lie?" button before ending the procedure? Who would be the liar in this case? The toilet or your ass?

Subspray - non-invasive subdermal spray - can deliver any medication without piercing the skin (and patient - noticing).

For example, sleeping meds will knock the NPC out but the effect of any available drug can be applied to the victim.

SMPSV Klaipeda is a small multipurpose space vehicle. Those can push containers, shuttle people and cargo, also deploy explosive charges to crumble the asteroid ore. Some of them have had a tumultuous and eventful service this far.

So, yes, there's a little bit of masquerade in the Space Wreck. However, this does not work with every group out there (e.g. demo) because a tight or small crew would easily recognize each other. "Faction armor" usually comes into play when there are societies with sub-groups that can be generalized as 'they' by others.

Been waiting for something like this in an RPG for years. Damn, Space Wreck really is about to deliver EVERYTHING I've been wanting for two decades :salute:

It's kinda like Hitman where the clothes you wear give you access to different areas, but certain NPCs are able to see through your disguise.

Thank you! At this point, honestly I am a bit worried if we will meet the expectations... :D But it's one of the reasons why we have a demo - a good chunk of game where you can see for yourself if any of the promises are real.

Not to diminish Space Wreck, but Hard to be a God and Seven both have similar mechanics.

Absolutely. SW started out as a homebrew clone of Fallout, and we keep borrowing mechanics from left and right - New Vegas, even FO4, Arcanum, Bloodlines, Hitman, definitely something else.

I have on occasion wondered how an isometric immersive sim would look like or whether it's even possible to make those two work together. I'm thinking Space Wreck is an answer to that question.

Valid question - wouldn't people object if some random dude just straight up whips out a circular power saw and starts demolishing the very thin layer between them and the void?

Correct answer is - yes, they probably would.
