Is release date of XBOX version earlier than PC version?

Just preloading. So you don't have to download the day the game releases. Edit - I didn't actually answer your question. No, the release dates are the same for PC & Xbox.

EDIT: Oh and how could I forget, world-renowned writer and quest designer Emil "Why bother?" Pagliarulo and his new boss William Shen are doing a Q&A on the Official Starfield discord today.

Said Q&A transcript: https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/15swuqp/discord_server_qa_full_transcript/

"Existing, IRL religions are part of the Starfield universe" I wonder if that schizo on 4chan was right about Starfield letting you meet Jesus Christ

Make the Codex Great Again! RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
More Q&A highlights:
  • No playable mechs. After the Colony War nobody uses them any more. Any you find will be broken down junk.
  • A little more on the three "religions":
    • The Enlightened: not a religion, hardcore humanist atheists.
    • Sanctum Universum: believe that God is an alien out in space somewhere, who allowed humans to discover the grav jump as a way of saying, "Come find me!"
    • Great Serpent cult: pretty much what you'd think. Believe in a giant snake that is coiling around the universe and will crush anyone that doesn't worship it.
  • In addition to the 20 named companions with unique voice acting etc. you can have procgen generic crewmembers. It looks like the generics can only crew ships or man outposts, meaning they won't follow you on adventures.
  • Companions and crewmembers don't level up or otherwise evolve their abilities.
  • To simplify crew/outpost management, hirelings are "purchased" with a single up front payment and do not collect salaries after that.
  • Jail is a thing just like in Elder Scrolls.
  • Player housing is available in all 4 major cities.
  • The visual appearances of Kid Stuff parents will be retro-generated from the PC's appearance, just like in Fallout 3+4.
and for completion a summary of Moink's list above
  • Economy is fixed, i.e. markets do not evolve and you can't starve or flood a market to drive prices up or down. But character skills can change your prices.
  • All faction mission lines can be completed independently, but unlike Skyrim stupidity, completing a questline doesn't necessarily mean you own the faction now.
  • A lot of effort was made to provide nonviolent problem-solving tools, but a pure "pacifist" playthrough is likely impossible.

"Emil: Existing, IRL religions are part of the Starfield universe, (with folks of all religions and denominations out there) but we don't really focus on them. Instead, we highlight three new ones specific to the game."

They said that the way to smuggle contraband was installing a particular module on your ship. I wonder if there is still a chance you get got. If not, it sounds the same as normal trade. :?

Somehow, I don't see humans colonizing the galaxy at all.
we are brutal creatures, human instinct is all about conquering, be it knowledge or territory. taking care of offsprings is a means to conquering territory. given the chance, half the population would just "fuck it" and move to the other side of the galaxy just because.

Kind of amusing how they are hyping up standard Bethesda game features as something new and revolutionary.
Even moreso that people are believing it. I don't think I'll ever truly fathom how Todd does it every time, he made a bargain at some point in his life I'm sure of it.

May Starfield be the second coming of Howard. Amen.
Makes no sense. He's been project lead and game director on a few dozen titles when exactly was his first coming and when did he leave and how come none of that inbetween counted as his second?
Todd's, praise be unto him, first coming was Morrowind, and we were blessed with his holy benevolence. He continued to deliver us from evil every five or so years, then the Judas Zenimax created an evil MMO to obscure the light from our eyes. What few rays of Todd's, praise be unto him, holiness that remained were eclipsed by the vile, base degeneracy that was... Fallout 76. It has been 8 years since Todd's, praise be unto him, brilliance has graced us. The second coming of Todd, praise be unto him, will be a venerable day indeed.

This is what you get when liberal atheists design fake religions. Cheap facsimiles of their own bad-faith interpretations projected onto everyone else.

So Starfield is the true Underrail sequel, the true promised Overrail?!
Forskar Flotsormir!
Todd was the unknown Godmen for all this time!

Yeah i know that snake cults are generally quite common fiction.
