You buy games that don't have wizards?

Even did some BFBC2 montages :

What I really hate is too futuristic games cuz weapons looks more like toys than guns.

While I do appreciate having a spaceship as a means to break up the pace and add variety with combat, piloting one also highlights the segmented nature of how you actually navigate Starfield's worlds. Presumably for convenience's sake, trekking across the galaxy is relegated to strings of fast travel points. You pull up your starmap, chart the course, jump to a planet's low orbit, then select largely predetermined landing points on the surface.

From Gamespot's review here: https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/starfield-review-to-infinity-but-not-beyond/1900-6418110/

He also says the Crimson Fleet's questline is a highlight of the game's quests.

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
What is it about this game in particular, that attracts the most rabid anti-"woke" people? Why are all the racist, mysoginist guys on the codex in this thread?
Uh, you don't read a lot of game threads here, do you?

You don't since you have nearly 400 people on your ignore list.

The fact that the OP used the phrase "racist misogynist" unironically shows the utter decline of the Codex. The Serbian was right, its redditors, tumblrinas, and ResetErans all the way down...

And just like that, the Codex trusts reviews from gaming journalist and e-celebs. When it's something you hated, codex, before even knowing what it was, then journalist and youtubers are the end all be all of opinions. Go get your asshole stretched by a bear. You are the NPC meme.

good video, mortismal is based
deleted the acg one because he's a soyboy cringe cucklord

the space combat looks nauseating ugh... also it doesn't make sense to me to see a giant ship rotate so quickly in space
I wish they had gone with something more tactical or eve-like for combat instead of this vertigo inducing cockpit crap that unfortunately we've been dealing with for years (but of course console players wouldn't approve of that)..

I do think I'd have some fun playing a space pirate in this game tho: just hijacking ships and selling them then making a bunch of settlements and eventually building a space empire.. though it's not disclosed whether there's any sort of payoff for 'making a shitton of $$' (i.e building a death star or something), knowing bethesda there's probably not

that said kenshi probably just straight up does that kind of gameplay better if that's what i want
idk

also one last thing: having a ton of empty planets to walk around on is uhhh not very interesting

It's funny how the RPGCodex takes IGN, Gamespot and mainstream reviewer's words seriously when it's convenient, for example Gamespot gave Pathologic 2 a 5/10 which implies Starfield is better which is obviously fucking stupid

Let me iterate by saying this game is obviously gonna be absolute garbage without mods and I'm not defending it, but I'm not believing any reviewer's words because they're all retarded
