I usually just let myself be summoned to boss fights in order to experience jolly cooperation. But after a few fights like that, I get familiar with the boss and then tackle it on my own.

The gargoyles are only difficult if you fight them for the first time, and summoning both Sunbro and Lautrec (yes, you can do that if you know how) makes them have a lot more HP and makes the fight pretty fun and somewhat challenging.

Oh, and when fighting dragons (and the Gargoyles), have you tried hitting them in the tail? Not too close to the base, but not so far back you can barely hit it.
you mean to get a weapon from them? I got a weapon from the gargoyles but it was pretty useless and I got a sword from the gaping dragon.

Ah, so you figured it out. Yeah, the Gargoyle axe is a crazy thing. The Gaping Dragon has a big weapon, but I never really used it. There are a few more dragons you can fight and get their tails from, some easier than others. The one in the small valley with water and the one talking massive bullshit are notoriously difficult to get their tail weapon from, but for different reasons.

I swear to fucking god, this game is too stressful.
Everything was going fine in Anor Londo until I reach the parts where I have to walk through the long beams and literally fall because of this shitty controller and the game is downhill from there on. 30,000 souls gone.

The first archer was easy, killed him. I'm going to the 2nd archer, I try to attack then I fall off wtf.
Ah yes, the one on the ledge to the right as you approach is a bitch. Try to use weapons that don't move you around too much as you swing.

I remember this: run straight, attack the dude on the left (try to knock him off) even if you get here from the rear it should propel you further onto the edge. Then take on the other fellow. This is one of the cheapest moments of the game tho.

I beat the grey wolf sif after my 5th try. This bitch was tough but nothing I couldn't handle.
I fought Sif in robes, with Priscila scythe, and with Balder shield. When you want to fight Sif kill him with style. (Also I had that nice additional scene with him.)

I have conquered Anor Londo. I'm right in front of ornstein boss fight.

So I found a way to get past the archers. I kept evading and got close enough till they switched to melee weapons then moved away from them, they always fell.

I eventually reached inside of the building, there are way too many black knights. I swear, I can't kill any prowling demon whatsover, they take too long to kill and do too much damage. I eventually use humanity and summoned another player, just to get invaded by some guy 5 minutes later that kills both of us.:argh:

I switched back to my battle axe and upgraded it with lightning. Lets see how this boss fight turns out.

Atta boy! Now, the fun begins, as does the :decline:.

I don't get people like you. Every time someone reaches this point there has to be at least one fag conditioning him to expect less fun onward. I enjoyed the rest of the game fine but then I wasn't blogging my progress here when going through it so no one told me I should expect to like this part or that part less than previous parts. Let the guy have his own fucking experience.

The only decline for me was Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith and being able to warp almost anywhere with Lordvessel (it would have been fine if it were only to and from bonfires with a Fire Keeper). New Londo and Tomb of the Giants were great areas, though I would have liked the former to have been larger, and The Duke's Archives was fine also - it just needed more than one lonely Crystal Knight enemy to spice things up a bit. Sure, none of these levels reach the great heights of Blighttown, Anor Londo, Sen's Fortress or Painted World, but they're far from the total rubbish some people make them out to be.

Have you tried going back to the room you fought Seath in the first time? You can do that.

I hated crystal caves so much more than lost izalith. Just in case you were forgetting that this is just a dumb video game, let's remove all correlation between what you see and the collision geometry of the level.

I am in the painted world. I like the design of the place, I feel like the difficulty is good enough here. I see the Berserk skeletons are here, it would be good if this game had a torch or something. This underground area is dark as hell.
is there anything there?
A fuckton of souls, and you can find a certain NPC there after buying all of his stuff. This giant knight came out of nowhere

Oh, and did you kill the gold crystal golem?
I keep hearing about a gold crystal golem but I have yet to see one. I searched online on how to get into the DLC area and I killed the golem that I'm supposed to yet I don't remember getting anything from it.

There's a golem at the start of the archives. Kill it, it drops an item. Go to the golem past the hydra in Darkroot Garden, kill it, talk to the lady that pops out, reload, approach the floating space-time bunghole.

But I meant the golden golem in the garden prior to the crystal caves.

The Painted World was the very first area of the game they designed. It's a fun area alright, with quite a few interesting enemies to fight and quite some handy loot to find.
