So I stopped maining my Mesmer because it's not so much fun to play in PVE. Recently have had urges to play it just in sPVP and WvW, but I think I will wait for the profession to be balanced because I don't really care for playing FOTM.
But the profession is balanced.
He probably means balanced against other professions.

Grping with randoms as engineer is pretty fun. It lets me not worry about survival and just take 2 kits to unleash hell. Elixir gun, Bomb Kits.
Must've cleared two zones with them randoms. Added them to friend list, hope to group with them again. Bomb barrel is too damn cute.

Anyway, how do they base your kit damage? Does your main hand weapons matter when calculating their damage? I notice bomb kits does more damage on auto attack and so I kept spamming it when I run out of cooldown on my pistols.

Been receiving some necro training scenarios in an empy server from some lv30ish BROs I've been tourneying with. Class turns out to be a surprisingly good bunker buster vs guardians/engineers after moving traits around to get more use out of tapping in/out of shroud. Got a lot of new setups I wanna try now that I've found a good niche for necro. Plus Corrupt boon->Epidemic is absolutely terrifying in the 3v3-4v4 clashes in tPVP

We tried a venomshare thief/conditionmancer combo. Thief popped his venoms, enemy guardian used save yourselves to cleanse his team. I flipped his boons along with all the conditions he had just absorbed and spread them back to his team with epidemic. We utterly wrecked them 2v5

If you need bags, I'll mail a few.
Or you can craft your own. It's simple. Just take armorsmith and mine copper.
8 - slot boxes isn't so hard to make.

:what:

Damn I don't have any good necromancer friends, and that sounds awesome. I've heard good necros can counter the support guardian/bunker guardian, but I haven't seen many good ones.

Thanks RK47, I'll try crafting my own. Plenty of copper lying around - although I've mainly been using it for Jewelcrafting, as Jewelcraft Discovery is so piss-easy / high-xp-rewarding.

Head to Charr zone if you're still lvl 15-25ish.
Completed that zone last night, so full of wacky stuff.

I dunno. Armor seems safe to ignore unless you're going dungeons.
A silver per 5 levels from 1-25 can net you a decent weapon from the TP.
It starts getting close to half a gold per 5 levels, but they're all acceptable to me.
Before you spend your karma, you should check your Trading Post options. Do a search and decide.

It's not a lot of money TBH.

Spending karma is preferable to spending money. Seriously, don't save this shit. I didn't spend any from like 35 to 80 and all I had was around 20k. From what I hear you get loads of it on WvW anyway.

50 silver is a lot of money, 4 times that and you buy an exotic set piece

I did buy an exotic Lv40 set once...it was outleveled within a day or two.
Doesn't seem worth it IMO. IIRC the exotic set at 80 would set ppl back upwards 200g or something.

That's quite true, I found Karma losses pretty negligible, compared to the benefit they could often bring. Of course, if you'll want to get your hands on some full Orr event-related gear, you'll want as much Karma as possible, but it's best to worry/gather it when you're max level (as you get max amounts of Karma on every event that way) than to stockpile the tiny pool of it you'll be having as you level. Most expensive shit will cost like 1-1,2K anyway, until you get into the "serious" price ranges of 48K or whatever it is.

Also, am a bit pissed about bag rune prices. High prices with no alternative means of getting them? Really?

Anyone can gimme a link to WvW guide.
I'm always on off-peak hours and it's pretty much a ghost town. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.
