No, it kept putting me in matches full of people with higher levels with me in a game where your level is everything.
When it wasn't doing that it put me in matches with lower level people who couldn't do shit against me.

As far as I know all those are shit like skins, nothing to do with actual gameplay.
You mean like, levels which you gain during actual match? Because everyone starts with the same level and it's your performance in match that decides how fast you gain them. Matchmaking is league-based and the main deciding factor in your league seems to be your kill/death ratio.
Then the game certainly wasn't telling me what I was doing wrong, because when I would start a match with other players, they would be a higher level than me immediately. I started with noticeably weaker weapons as well. Except when I didn't and was able to win without much exhibition of skill.

Picked up the Humble Bundle. I've been interested in Dear Ester and Proteus for a while, but I could never bring myself to buy them, so this seemed like a good opportunity. Also was interested in Thomas Was Alone. Seemed worth for only $5.

I'm pretty sure it has, since I got it and a ton of DLC for it at ~$14 USD. Anyway I think Pelvis Knot is right, I hadn't clicked the link and was just going by CyberWhale's post. 10 BR real is a bit under 5 USD, which is a better deal.

Thanks for posting that. I was wondering what the last bonus in the already good Groupees bundle would be, and Primordia was the only thing of interest to me in the IndieRoyale.
This is awesome news and another reason for me to be glad to have picked up the bundle. I've been looking at Primordia for awhile, but missed it during the last time it was on sale at GOG. I prefer GOG over Steam because of GOG's DRM-free policy, but it's a nice gain either way.
