This probably plays well for codex audience a strong GOTY contender

Well, it says it's a text-based RPG so I assume killing things, numbers go up. There's certainly a strain of Codexer that will appreciate that.

Not sure if legit.

At this point any try to make new game from VTM is a meme.
Especially since the IP is held by Paradox and one look at what has happen to White Wolf since Paradox bough them should give a good idea what the game itself will look like, if by some miracle it will come out.

Bethesda has basically been the pioneer of decline in RPGs. There is a separate thread for all roleplaying games (or games that claim to be such) coming out in general, this thread is for games that specifically offer the potential to develope the genre in interesting ways or at the very least come close to the bar set by older classics.
Bioware with Mass Effect franchise

We can't forget their input with creating or at least popularizing the dialogue wheel.

Colony Ship and Underrail are the only ones worth mentioning.
Codexers are delusional as usual.

Should be a follow up list:

Which do you think will actually be released before Jan 1, 2024?

Colony Ship and nothing else. And colony ship doesn't really count, because it won't really be "finished" until about a year's worth of extra stuff is gradually patched in.

Baldurs' Gate 3 because it unironcally will be the first great Divinity game that won't be hold back by garbage itemization, and Bloodlines 2 because I want to see the absolute trainwreck that will, without a doubt, complete and utterly bury the whole series six feet under.
