Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Since Brutal Doom is just a Doom mod that adds some stuff to the original, the pace of gameplay is very similar, therefore the following video serves as a good comparison of Original Doom vs Bethesda's Call of D00My.

Here, we can see very clearly how, as the devs say, the "gameplay is pretty fast" and "inspired by Brutal Doom" and is pretty much a return to the classic FPS gameplay style:

What's with ID and their inability to make a Doom game set on earth? Hell On Earth doesn't count in my opinion. More like Hell in abstract oil refineries.
It would also solve the cramped corridor problem.

Make a Doom game set on real USA/First World Country = VIDEOGAMES PROMOTE VIOLENCE AND MASS SHOOTINGS!
Make a Doom game set on real Earth/Third World Country = MUSLIM COUNTRY BANS GAME BECAUSE OF ITS POOR DEPICTION OF MUSLIMS! ARE VIDEO GAMES PROMOTING RACISM?

I couldn't fucking believe it when they made it so time stopped when you selected a weapon.

Call of duty and every other CASUAL shooter on the market doesn't do that. Id is really pushing the frontiers of casualization.

Edit: Also, the chainsaw is pathetic. it only seems to do one scripted attack with one animation per enemy type. That would get old very fast.

Now I see why Doom fans here dislike Brutal dooms fans. These guys seriously think its the way Doom was supposed to be.

this video exists to show how "inspired by Brutal Doom" is marketing bullshit.

I've been replaying all the original Dooms in preparation for what will obviously outshine them all. I forgot how shitty E4's difficulty curve was, but otherwise, it's just fantastic.

I don't care about raping Doom franchise coz it has been already raped by Doom 3 and I bet new one will still be better than this PoS but my main concern is what they gonna do after D4 - just wait for Quake 6, turtle-slow lovecraftian call of dudy waifu escort simulator with checkopoints and healthregen.
