Thing is, Doom 1+2 used to belong to a certain generation, and Doom 3+4 belongs to another. I'm sure you can understand this new game belongs to the latter.

Composition and illustrating what the game is about were needlessly complex and archaic, and they only did that because they didn't have the technology to render a single character holding a gun with title covering 50% of the image. Bethesda just cut out the fat, like in all their games.

It's really bothering me that the gun doesn't fit fully into the frame of the cover. Like would it have taken that much work to shrink the image a little so the barrel of the fucking gun is in the image.
