I think it might be Arcanum 2. I just read the manual for Arcanum and saw that younger elves sometimes address older elves as "auntie" and "uncle", with even elder elves being referred to as "grandfather" or "grandmother", even if the elves aren't related. Imagine staying up/planning your life around the announcement for an Obsidian game you know won't get released until quarter 1 2020 because that's the only time Obsidian succesfully release games,

And knowing that whatever bullshit release date they promise you will be delayed considerably because it's Obsidian, then released buggy and you have to wait for the 1.04-6 patch, again because Obsidian. Thus putting you to about mid 2020/2021 minimum

It will be a first person RPG with simultaneous turns based combat from an isometric point of view with a consolized retarded UI (because Fallout 1 UI was unintuitive and a mess).

It will be Bloodlines, Arcanum and Temple of Elemental Evil all put together, a distilled concoction, the essence of those games brought to this day and age and tweaked to the least common denominator.
In all the fraternities (and sororities of course) across US, frat boys/girls in search of that "hardcore RPG gamer" status will open champagne and sing jolly jolly tunes in anticipation for the wonderful days to come.
