I get the feeling this game will be soulless as fuck.

I've been getting this impression with Obsidian's games for a while now. It all has to do with the artstyle. Those ads on obsidian.net are just... not good.

It will be a first person RPG with simultaneous turns based combat from an isometric point of view with a consolized retarded UI (because Fallout 1 UI was unintuitive and a mess).

So far, I have liked all the Cainarsky attempts (Fallout, Bloodlines, Stonekeep, Arcanum), so now that they have an AAA budget... that's not a bad thing, right?

Well, Cain and Boyarsky together have never created a single game that didn't have a soul or wasn't good.

We all know that Feargus is breathing down their necks between his donut runs, so if the game is indeed a soulless turd, then it would of course be Feargus' fault... at least that would be the official RPG Codex explanation, as Cainarsky can evidently do no wrong.

Its hunting the thrill of empty promises. Specifically, Hunting the thrill of a promise of a new experience, something unexplored, something unknown - something new.
Which of course turns out to be anything but at first contact and is a rehash of everything done before, only worse, lousier, and more devolved.

Anyone knows when the only interesting part will be in that shit show? I expect it wont be the first thing talked about so it could be much more then a 66 minutes as it stands now.
