How many torments are there?
They have "long term rights" to develop sequels:You'd think that with insanely positive response Private Division would be willing to pour some more money at least for the mod support.
They'd be more willing if they knew they could do sequels with Obs also but its a strange situation; I remember something like they could do sequels without Obs(?)
However, it doesn't say anything potential exclusive rights, right of first refusal, etc.Who retains IP with Private Division projects?
With the exception of Kerbal Space Program, which we acquired earlier this year, our studio partners own the underlying IP, and we have long-term rights to develop sequels against these IPs.
Nothing in PoE2 or White March is worthy of note, though. Wasn't Tyranny mostly Matt MacLean's writing project? He was lead on that IIRC.So Torment is badly written ?

That's the problem. She wants to write books, not games. Writing games (badly) is just a hobby that pays for all 3 of them.
They wrote the only good parts of dumpsterfire (The Gullet), Patel is also responsible for much of White March as far as I am aware and Tyranny is just fine. Tyranny is also better written than either PoE1 or PoE2, but ends abruptly because it was sacked by Feargus and didn't get a follow up due bad sales.

The only Tim Cain game with decent mechanics is the one where he stole all the mechanics from a rulebook.Nothing in PoE2 or White March is worthy of note, though. Wasn't Tyranny mostly Matt MacLean's writing project? He was lead on that IIRC.So Torment is badly written ?

If the game will have shit writing, atleast Tim should create decent RPG mechanics, right? RIGHT ?

Yeah, The Outer Worlds might be playable if you can choose the option to hide all text and dialogue and just follow the quest markers. If the game will have shit writing, atleast Tim should create decent RPG mechanics, right? RIGHT ?
Not necessarily. For instance, it's possible the contract prevents T2 from using one of Obsidian's competitors to develop a sequel (like Bungie and Activision re: Destiny ports). T2 may also have a right of first refusal to publish Obsidian-developed sequels within that period, and there's the matter of who owns the first game's tools and/or tech (or what parts of it).So Obs can do whatever with the IP themselves/with MS and PD can also until the long term ends, hmn.
I wonder whats the ratio of faggots to normal human beings in their team, id guess something like 10/1
Fixed that for you.How many torments are there?
There are atleast a few JRPGs written near the level of Torment.
So Torment is badly written ?

The artists draw what they see. This explains a lot.I now realize why the female characters look like dykes.
