Did anyone else get a Navkey to Monarch at the start of the game despite the quest chain about getting a Navkey later on? The one to Cascadia to be specific, i'm not sure if that was a bug and I didn't actually try going there until later on.

At some point i just went nut from that garbage and begun shooting shit only to not hear them. Fuck,it was so cringy, that my ears begun bleeding.

After combat if a banter gets interrupted one of them will say "Now where was I" and then continue talking.

There is no escape from the POZ.

is asexuality an actual sexuality? it's goofy to see in fiction a young woman being an "asexual" when in reality it's a symptom of mental illness/hormone disruption

asexuality could have worked as a flaw once the game registers you've been shot in the nads one too many times

Anything can be a identity but this seems more like a backdoor for romantically unsuccessful white girls into the LGBT-collective, although I'm sure real asexuals exist as well. I know a high-functioning schitzoid guy that is completely uninterested in sex but he sure doesn't define himself as an asexual.

No it isn't. This is caused by a hormone imbalance or mental trauma from being molested, similar to homosexuality. All of these illnesses are caused and can be cured.

To even pretend that these illnesses are going to be in a SCI FI setting with space ships and plasma guns is ridiculous to say the least.
I think you're part of the problem. If there were no assholes to share their opinions everywhere, we wouldn't have devs who would feel forced to answer them through our RPGs... And Maybe Cain & Boyarski would have made their dream game.....

companion quests seriously overlevel u btw. I think if you just get whole team quickly and do their quests you'll overlevel whole game except the very endgame.

as for me I am losing willpower to progress, even though I probably could wrap up the game quickly and go to Byzantium
level 25 and kill everything
6025 energy ammo and counting
items in vendor machines are level scaled
quests and npcs are all similar
locations are similar, Scylla was highest point of area visuals
humour is repetetive
my quest for toothpaste is to kill raptors and kill marauders

I know, that is why i was just shooting at things so i could dull the sound of their voices. It was really painful, they were going on about genders and one was all apologizing about calling the cleaning bot the wrong gender etc etc.

I'm past the first area and things may change down the line, but if this is what leftist think a corporation ruled world is they are either very, very stupid and uneducated or just trolling (or some meta commentary). The whole set up is like a communist regime took straight out of eastern Europe and changed the Party with The Board. I'm actually curious to finish the game just to see how delusional the writers are.

They work at Microsoft now so it's either a reflection of their new life, or it could be the game is satirical and some pulp sci fi. Damn i google pulp sci fi and the pics it sends me, its quite close to outer world indeed, maybe it's also just a video game and people taking it far too seriously...

Well, like with Pillars, doesn't seem they had any intention of making any "dream" game and that was just a delusion of the fans.
PoE still had a soul. There were weaknesses, but they tried to do something (whether in terms of writing or gameplay).
Now I feel completely out of touch with TOW. It's not for me. they made a game for the internet or twitter audience.... or to piss off a portion of the Internet. Great, but I don't give a shit.

There is an “I identify as” joke with ADA though. Very tame though, didn’t even go with “I identify as an attack spaceship.”

Their dream game was FO:NV for obvious reasons. They had an already built engine, a bunch of material from Van Buren, etc. Avellone tried to do his best with Alpha Protocol, but nothing could survive Chris Parker’s botcher job and most people at Obsidian were focused on NV. MotB had good characters and atmosphere because it was a smaller game made without compromises so Feargus didn’t ruin it with mismanagement. KOTOR 2 can be considered a competent storyfag sequel if you enjoy Star Wars and can play the complete version—again Avellone did his best, but the publishers fucked Obsidian in the ass. So they made two games out of love and, unsurprisingly, they tend to be their own only memorable games in more than 10 years of existence.

Look at how far we've come. This piece of sheit is so bad that it made PoE look like it had a soul. Can you imagine a game being so uninspired that it made PoE look good? Let's stop and think about that for a moment.

Quick explanation for "people" who don't understand why the Pvarti quest/character is bad.

We are railroaded into not only condoning the mental illness homosexuality but also taking part in facilitating it, this is evil. At no point can we say "Did you know you are mentally ill? How can you be trusted to repair my ship?"

If this game had good writing we'd be able to fix her illness. Oh if you tell her to "Focus on your work" then it breaks her character and she can't talk to you anymore and it says she dies in her ending even if she is alive.

Actually you can tell her to fuck off however you cannot tell her to fuck off because she is gay.

I'm talking Fallout 1 structure, not Fallout 1 quality you ding dongs.

How Fallout are we talking here? One of my favorite things about Fallout 1/2/New Vegas is that you're told to find a thing and with metaknowledge you can immediately go to the thing; there's no forced "you have to go here and do this then go here and do this then go here and do this" like in most RPGs (including Arcanum, unfortunately) at least until after you've resolved your primary objective (though Fallout 1 lets you go after the military base and Cathedral in the order of your choosing and there are multiple ways of dealing with them).

15 hours in the main quest is basically a McGuffin, so I'm sure there's a way to speedrun it, once you figure out where everything is. And then you also have the option to screw the main quest guy right at the start. I'm not sure if anyone has tried it yet and how it goes.

I wanted a libertarian simulator and this isn't it at all. I can't even buy recreational nukes.

I just robbed some stinking unemployed commies and they were forced to go back to work and slave away at the factory for minimal wages.

Corporate man, through and through.

To top it off the character is voiced by Ashley Burch. Hello? I feel like I am the only sane person here she's the sister of a genuine cuckold.

How is this permitted? What are then even doing at ObCISian?
