The first few minutes of Binary Domain seemed to be a dark portent that this was going to be one of those "buddy movies" only for games about bros bonding and watching each other's back and bouncing witticisms off each other in the face of grave danger so they can laugh at Death. Coupled with the annoying early Resident Evil jap-styled over the shoulder perspective was the kiss of death to me.

I haven't played any of them yet but the remastered is supposed to come with the original as well.

Been ages since I looked at it last, but it's reasonably well done semi-3rd edition D&D turn based gameplay. I've had it in the "Wait" pile since when I initially got it it was just a series of arena fights, but they've been expanding the scope dramatically to include procedurally generated worlds with towns/quests/dungeons/adventures/etc and even some non-combat shit like picking locks and disarming traps. Mechanically it works much like the D20 system, where the specifics differ is in the numbers. A lot of the numbers are (Or were, since it's been a year or two since last I launched it) really inflated compared to standard tabletop so even if someone hitting you with a sword does 30 damage, you might have a few hundred HP. Why they went that way I'm not entirely sure, but that's how it was. Probably worth a look for people who enjoy things like Knights of the Chalice tabletop-like degeneracy but since it's in development it's hard to say how good the freeform adventuring mode will end up being. And I see the second screenshot shows a level 36 kobold with 37 strength so the inflated numbers are still in.

Ugly female lead dressed like a man with the face of a horse (or Christoph Waltz if you prefer) done on purpose/showing no resemblance to the model or concept art and yes. That and the Epic Exclusivity shenanigans landed it on my Ignore list. There's just too much other shit to play to bother with this kind of stuff.

I picked up Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition for $3. I remember playing the original '95 DOS version and figured it may be a fun nostalgia trip for an afternoon. Also picked up King of Dragon pass for a buck from a key vendor.

GOG had Drakensang for $2.49 so I snagged that as well.

That's exactly what it is, a fun, unpretentious and very well-designed game. Really fun to explore and find all the secrets, at this price it's a steal.

I played Saya No Uta but not Necrobarista, but I'm certain the first one is way better. Also, the sexy times is with a loli, and intentionally used for shock value. The censored edition removed the porn sections and the story isn't affected much.
