I just voted for a buncha shit I didn't play to get the sweet seasonal cards to sell on the marketplace. If they all go for what I've asked, I can probably make $0.50! lol

Every category was basically just shit I've never played and/or shit I've never heard of. CP2077 is, I think, the only thing I played in the entire contest.

Well, it's been a particularly shitty year for videogames, hasn't it?

This is actually kind of an interesting question. I think it's been a reasonably decent year for gaming in theory, but what's been interesting is how so many releases have absolutely shit the bed in QA and released as buggy disasters. Including games that are in the awards list, like Battlfield 2042, CP2077, New World, possibly others.

Somebody triggered you for eternity in an infinite butthurt that will never die using wordz on the internet. It doesn't really matter what it was that achieved this. The fact that you are this kind of specimen sayz that endocrinal disruptors in the food and water have permanently bent you forever, no saving throw.

There's autistic and then there is critical phase autism where you are talking about a game released 5 years ago angry it has gone on sale. Because reasons. But sanity.

My words came out harsher than I intended. Expecting truth and integrity on the internet is certainly my failing, but I feel it shouldn't have been my failing to expect more from you.

Will still buy your next game at full price regardless.

Just started looking at the Steam Awards. I haven't gotten passed the Game of the Year category yet because :what:

I'm not sure whether to laugh or what. How the hell are these the GOTY nominees? I thought that game awards show was stupid.

GOTY nominees: Valheim, New World, Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil: Village, Forza Horizon 5.
Welcome to Current Year, enjoy your stay!: https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/is-gaming-officially-over.140910/

Just make your own games, then you only have yourself to blame!

I'm hoping one of you can help me remember the name of a game.

It's kind of like an adventure game/RPG but the whole thing is controlled through windows and menus. There's an overworld map and you control all the elements of the game as if it's an operating system.

I realise this is very vague.

My own game of the year was probably Metroid Dread, but for obvious reasons that can't appear on the Steam list. I had good fun in Valheim while it lasted, it's certainly better than It Takes Two or whatever the fuck designed by committee crap got released this year.

I'd probably vote for Inscryption if it got nominated. It's pretty cool.

Unsighted is great. My GOTY. Check it out for more of that 2d metroid/zelda itch

I bought ATOM and Serpent in the Staglands and Fallout: NV.

I may get some other stuff, too. Not much jumping out at me, though.
