Dustforce is 50% off and Bastion is 60% off in midweek madness

Is Dustforce worth 3.5euros?

Dustforce is rumored to be in the Indie Facekick Bundle but: 1) It won't happen until after this sale is over; and 2)They are a larger bundle and run about $10 -- you get more games but chances are you might not like the other stuff.

Haven't played it. Probably won't because it looks like a Super Meat Boy type of game and I fail at those. In general, though, I'm sure it'll be cheaper during the Summer Sale (starting to sound like a broken record). Just depends on how much you want to play it between now and the end of June.

Will buy if it's under $20.

And now fuck off you popamole defender.

Irony. What is Binary Domain but popamole?

The fact that sitting behind cover can lead to deaths in some situations? And some enemies has a tendency to ignore it as well, simply zipping forth and attacking you from behind? There's plenty of encounters past chapter 1 that made simple mole popping tactics not as effective as going out there, gunning and rolling as needed.

Boss fights that has visible damage was nice too. Overall I did not regret my purchase and only felt anger at Sega not giving the IP more care it deserved.

At worst it's popamole. At best it's a console cover shooter... with better than average AI. Anyway, my point was Morgoth shits on stuff like Torchlight but most of the time I see him posting it's about some console port.

The EA 'bundle' went live -- $21ish until May 9th. Games are also on sale individually but Valve jacked up the price of the Deathspank games from $10 to $15 list to make it look like their 25% off is 50%. They did it before with Costume Quest...

It's my understanding that it's more of the same, with a slightly spruced up combat system. Probably not worth it if you didn't like the first one.

Picked up Dustforce. Great design, definitely a pinpoint perfection sort of platformer, though. I'm enjoying it, but it'll be a while before I'm much good at it. Main complaint is that the double jump is kind of sticky. I'll probably end up remapping the controls to see if I can find a more graceful combination.

I haven't played an aviation simulator since, uh, Red Baron, but I loved it. How do these super-slick modern simulators like DCS: A-10C match up?

This. It's basically the same game with a few minor additions and multiplayer.

Good:
weapons are balanced more but the endgame sledgehammer is still the best big weapon
big enemies are more of a threat, now there are fat enemies
Music is a little better
there is a level where all you do is slaughter stereotypical jungle cannibals
there is a level where all you do is you slaughter man-seducing and killing female cultists and their leader with magic powers

Eh:
pounce targeting is kind of fucked
control scheme has been changed up, not necessarily for better or worse
some costume unlocking with modifiers like +20% grapple damage for the luchador in that multiplayer single screen co-op map thing
just a bit longer but not by much

if you like beatemups give it one runthrough

Arkham City, $15 bucks. Worth it? I think the game has not even been pirated yet. Even TPB fears the powers of Batman.

Keep in mind that even with 50% off the DLCs come at ~11$ so it's $26 for the whole game.

Forget the DLC, unless you're a fag.

Get the base game. This is an order.

:salute:
:salute: (although the dlc is ok if you really like the combat and want robin and nightwing for beating up dudes (i pirated the dlc but bought the game proper because i played all of 20 minutes with the dlc but what the hell))

I would if I fucking could, but I can only get the fucked Euro version of Steam where it's 17 euros so it's too much at the moment.

Ask somebody in USA to buy and gift it to you, paypal them the cash.

I do this all the time with games that aren't available here.

I've heard conflicting reports as to whether the AA (first game) GOTY has Securom. It's listed on the store page but some dude on CAG is swearing it doesn't. Anyone here know for sure? Might pick it up for $7. Or I might wait for the Summer Sale to see if there's a huge discount on the two-game bundle.
