Edit: MHC, I don't mind stealing lods of emone with people.
I played with some CDS bros once or twice and had a good time in Payday, but since I don't hang out in CDS chat much I generally don't think about it.

That, and I mainly play singleplayer shit anyway. Might have to pop my head in to CDS when we're doing some games to see if any Codexers wanna join in the emone.

New flash is $10 for Alan Wake 'franchise' (game + collector's crap + stand alone expansion or w/e). That price tag screams to me... it'll be in Humble Bundle #6 along with Trine 2, Grimrock, and SPAZ. Probably Dear Esderp, too.

Doesn't matter; bought Alan Wake anyway.

Don't even know why. Fuck this shit I need to hide my wallet and drill that memory hole out of my head.

You need to be more discerning~ Everything I've seen of Alan Wake makes it seem like a decent 'experience' with a good setting but poor in terms of actual game play. That is to say: it's Dear Esther with shooting vignettes. I don't even know why I put $50 in my Steam wallet before this... I will be lucky to go through half of it looking at my wish list.

You should do that, I don't play much multi either but hang out in the CDS for all the emotional engagement. Also, you simply must play payday with skyway. There's nothing like having some crazy dude scream at you in broken English to leave your dead bros behind and get to the escape point.

Alice Madness Returns is another new flash deal for $5. Think it was even $4 about a month ago during a daily/midweek.

NEVER LEAVE BROS BEHIND! Unless you're playing Left 4 Dead and are playing a 8 player versus game with friends and you're a survivor and you make a mad dash to the safehouse while the rest of your group gets slaughtered behind you and the zombies try to talk you in to stepping outside to help your downed companions. Man, casual Left 4 Dead versus was great.

And I'm still enjoying Alan Wake! I'll be picking up American Nightmare during this sale most likely. Definitely if it gets cheaper, and probably if it says at $7.50. One thing in Alan Wake's favor, it seems like the story knows where the hell it's going and what's going on. I'm under the impression that Dear Esther is all "wooOOoOOoOOoOo what happened just now look in your heart and fill in the blanks!" which almost always manages to piss me off, ESPECIALLY in video games which I can't think of any that did that well. Alan Wake initially seems like it's going to do that, but as you play it clears things up. Shooting's still pretty simple even during the most action-heavy sequences where you're using flashbangs/flares/shotguns. Without the story and presentation it'd be pretty ass.

Not an edit because I happened to click over to Steam: WELL JESUS 75% off Alan Wake flash sale. HELL YEAH AMERICAN NIGHTMARE!

I ended up buying Crusader Kings II and all the DLC and what not, plus the Shogun II collection. I was on the fence on the TW: Shogun 2, but the countdown clock got to me so just went ahead and bought it. I should have just got Shogun 2 and skipped on the collection, but as the minutes counted down I was suckered.

I wonder if I will buy anything else.

The countdown clock really does make it hard to pass on a deal for something I actually already have on my wishlist.

Cheap enough for me. I have been waiting for a somewhat better deal on this for a while. Most deals I have seen were not impressive.

Edit: Yup, it was $4 on May 28.

Perhaps MHC should ask pray to Gaben he puts a new badge/achievement up. Does anyone know is there some practical purpose to those badges?

Steams conversion between euros and dollars was always retarded.

Is blood bowl worth 10 euro?

Legendary Edition? More than worth 10 euro, yes.

Have you played FUMBBL?
fumbbl?

Free Blood Bowl client. The matchmaking system is a bit more primitive, but it has much better rules implementation (except for the Bomber not being in and the skill Pass Block not working).

http://www.fumbbl.com/

There are reasons to play both, IMO, but if you're just looking to play some Blood Bowl, FUMBBL is free. But the next Codex Blood Bowl League (which is highly prestigious and a joy to be in, of course), will probably be in Cyanide's.

Westerners complained that Anno 2070 and Anno 2070 collection cost the same ($25) and it's wrong and Ubi heard them. So collection is $30 now.

Don't ever say that Ubi do not listen to their fans.
