I really like this system versus the old one. It's sort of like the Shoot Many Robots system without the leveling. You can upgrade everything: traps, weapons, and trinkets. You can even 'buy' vanity costumes and such.

Recorded two Orcs Must Die 2 co-op maps with Metro. Gonna take a while to encode and upload. Second one started to freak out, but I tried stopping the video and starting again relatively shortly after that which smoothed it out. Just as well, the two movie chunks total about 15 minutes anyway. A full recording of that map probably would've gone over time.

Spoiler: We kill lots of orcs. :bounce:

Edit: I did count the maps, by the way. 15 maps (Story maps only, discounting alternate difficulties, endless, and the 10 OMD1 maps that got ported over to endless) in Orcs Must Die 2, 24 in the original.
Original game seemed to have a much longer tutorial/warm up period though.

Didn't realize you were going to be frapsing 'till you invited me. If you're doing it next time I could probably host to ease your FPS hit a bit. In other news I hit level 40 in Shoot Many Robots!

Hosting shouldn't really impact FRAPS (And in fact it didn't) unless the game hammers the CPU hard, it's just whatever the hell causes it to flip out on me happened. I assume it's Windows doing something on C drive, since that's where FRAPS is recording to. All the games I've been recording are running on a different drive entirely.
Taking extra long to upload now too since my internet decided to start crapping out on me.

I also bought Orcs must Die! during the sale, but haven't played it yet.

It's from Robot Entertainment, which basically consists of leftovers from Ensemble Studios, so it can't be that bad.

And fuck you Microsoft for closing down Ensemble!

Well I gave in to the decline and got myself a Xbawks 360 controller so I could play Kung Fu Strike. Giving 30 euros so I can play 6 euro worth game. Find logic there.
Atleast I can play all the new shooters the way they are meant to be played. lolo

Well atleast game is a bit retarded(easy) with twitch gameplay, but making a 60 hit combo while buttonmashing leaves a bit of satisfaction. And theres a Button of Awesomeness(tm) too. 11/10!

The Quakecon pack has been added to the registry. Not sure on the cost but expect that to be the weekend deal -- probably have dailies on various Bethesderp/ID franchises, too. Re: OMD2, did a quick look at the Sorceress and seems like she pretty much has the same unlocks as the War Mage except her initial two traps (which are pretty indistinguishable from the War Mage's), a mana well (versus a health well), and a transmog spell (versus the hammer). Main thing that distinguishes her is the charm ability which could be extremely useful in endless or nightmare for co-op.

Hmm, interesting. Im waiting for Rage to be on sale so I can use my new gamepad to full power, standard price was lowered to 20 euros, would be nice with a 50% or even better 75% rebate on it.

Btw Im just trolling about the gamepad, played Trine, Capsized, Rochard and they all feel much more controllable with mouse+kb. Playing shooter with it would be a masive handicap.

Rage was $6 at Newegg recently but I'd imagine with international shipping it wouldn't have been that great of a purchase.

Might grab Hunted if it's $5-ish. Same with Call of Cthulhu and I guess Quake 4.

Also considering grabbing Wizardlands. Only thing holding me back is I'm not sure if I wanna dive in to more Dredmor at the moment.

Rage is a disgusting game, iD's failure is complete, I'd avoid it at all costs if I were you.

You must listen; who I am is not important. The first thing you must know - Steam has great deals. Other distributors will mislead you, they will try to use you, and you cannot be swayed in your purpose. The games are here, and we will get them. This internet is full of dangers. Steel yourself and go. I'll be watching.

All jokes aside, Skyrim is a lot better than Oblivion. It actually plays like a game aimed at people who haven't just learned their ABCs. I didn't really come across any retarded or derpy moments in that game (except for the ending of the Dark Brotherhood questline.... that was ridiculous).

Also, when New Vegas comes out, you lot have no excuse not to buy it. Engine flaws aside, it is a true Fallout game, and it is a wonder Bethesda allowed it to be made at all.

Indie Gala is having a 'happy hour' promo -- if you post at CAG forum you can probably grab the bundle for $1.50ish or so from people buying multi-packs.

I got Rage for 55 SEK(6euros) from Impulse someone tipped about in that other thread. Brofist to you. Saved 4 euros compared to Steam.

Okay, might have a few keys to give away, trying to evaluate some of the games I'm on the fence with... first one I know I definitely don't want: Rig N' Roll! Non douche bags/lurkers can PM me for the key.
