Also, read at RPS in interview about the new cyberpunk game, how one of the devs of CDprojekt is amazed by D3 always online DRM and how he thinks it can be monetized more and how industry will go into that direction and yeah...
RPS: OK then: DRM. Not for Cyberpunk specifically, because CD Projekt’s sworn off DRM. Meanwhile, though, Diablo III recently launched with an incredibly restrictive online policy, and it’s been having all sorts of awful, uncomfortable hiccups.
THat's an honorable title to receive from a hivemind drone.gaudaost = official apologist of the decline as seen in the Diablo 3 thread.
Wait. What choice are you talking about? The one where you decide to help either Iorveth or Roache right? Because that is the only game changer, and it was extremely obvious due to the dwarf and the bard both lecturing you on the serious business nature of the decision. And it was in Act 1.Actually. It was very subtle and not clear at all when you were choosing which side to take in act 2, and you only had a couple of seconds to make the choice at all.
What was the biggest problem in TW2 then? Because I can't think of anything that wasn't the interface or something intimately involved with the interface (inventory is interface, laggy input is interface problem, QTE is a form of interface that disconnects input and actions and so on). Both Witcher 2 and Skyrim had awful UIs obviously made for consoles (surprise, surprise). Still, the interface, despite being an absolute trainwreck, is not even close to being game's biggest flaw, which says it all, really.
yeah and he was guilty anyway. all it meant for me was that i got my blood quicker
Potions lasted at least four times too short. If you can't use potions in a boss encounters because the buffs run out halfway through the cutscene, then something is very shit.i did it on one playthrough, vigilante justice is never the answer meyts
potions lasted quite awhile if you had the relevant perks/runes/etc

Really? Then when was it? If that's the case, then it's even more subtle. And no, I did not skip dialogue.
Cool. We have a classy French developer making an upcoming steampunk stealth game and we have a classy Polish developer making a cyberpunk game.Seems like CDproject is going to build a game with the old Cyberpunk pnp rpg setting. Shades, deckers and trenchcoats done by a dev I actually feel has got the competence to pull it off. Fuck yeah.

It is a pretty good time for non-generic settings in games.
In other breaking news, it seems the Elder Scrolls franchise will make an outing as an MMO. Stay Tuned!
