You're all shills
Looks like the same shit that happened with Cyberpunk "next gen update" (dumpster fire update)
You are right. Didn't actually click on it. Lol, what a dick move. Glad I backed it up 2 days ago.Except none of the download links for the GOTY Classic files work. All of them throw error 404 and GOG is yet to even acknowledge the issue, despite complaints since yesterday.Well, at least they kept the original install files as "extras" on GoG. Still better to make a backup though.
If anyone wants to make a backup, you have to replace a typo in the installer links for the old version, then they work (I tested it on one of them):

Hi, I just found the fix and It's super simple actually.
The problem is a typo in the link. All you have to do is remove "_(g)"
In short, change this:
../goty/classic/setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_(a)_(9709)_(g)-1.bin
To this:
../goty/classic/setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_(a)_(9709)-1.bin
Just click into the link and when you get to the error 404, check the address bar, in my case it ended in:
setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_%28a%29_%289709%29_%28g%29.exe
and I just had to remove the "_%28g%29" part, ending with something like this:
setup_the_witcher_3_wild_hunt_goty_1.31_%28a%29_%289709%29.exe
...and the download started ^^.

It's been a while since I last played it. The mods and improved LOD really did wonders for it:
I don't think so. This is the "vanilla" next-gen version with RT off. It's been a while since I last played it. The mods and improved LOD really did wonders for it:
looks good, doesnt need any lighting mod now?
At least Bethesda actually ported Skyrim LE to a new engine with Skyrim SE. Imagine CDPRekt having to actually put some effort on their games.
They made the nekkers white. Hmm...
So basically a so called AAA company used modders to remaster their product and now its fucked? The original witcher 3 staff was worked to death and all quit. Now they cheap out and use modders and release a trash product. On other forums I see tons of complaints about crashing stuttering etc. What a mess.
i made the terrible mistake of installing this update on my fx-6300 with 2 gig nvidia 660. It was a total fucking disaster. then I exited the game, but I could still hear the music and my computer was having a nervous breakdown. needless to say I uninstalled the game. its probably still running in task manager, I bet
this time it was different. it was like I unleashed a demon from the ancient world when I tried to close the game. like the whole PC was being choked and wouldn't respond to anything for like thirty seconds or so. I nearly diedThe music always plays for a second after the game has exited to desktop. The game executable probably minimizes to desktop before it self-terminates.
I thought I could run with the big DAWGS with my FX-6300. I got cockyServes you right for having this game on your PC 7 YEARS after it came out.
You do realize for that time spent if you pumped up some woman when TW3 came out, a child would now start going to school?
It's really nothing special, there is 1 new side quest for Netflix armor and that's it. 99% it looks fucking the same (RTX in general is useless gimmick you have to look for to notice)
And 5 more trees up there in the distance on average...yay.
Gods of gaming are punishing you for being graphic whores.
The mod that does most stuff, and rebalances the game is actually the work of a CDPR dev. I didn't know about it until it was mentioned as one of the mods being integrated into the next gen version, then I gave it a look and it's actually a very good and unintrusive bugix&rebalance mod. I'm playing the non-next gen version with it, after I gave up on trying to learn Enhanced Edition's combat (for the third time). So basically a so called AAA company used modders to remaster their product and now its fucked? It looks as if they were in a hurry to release this remaster before Christmas, without the necessary testing. Say, what about those pre-rendered cutscenes without animation data - are they still missing?

First, try setting the game to fullscreen exclusive and see if it works. For me, it works with DX11, but not with DX12. There's still no hotfix. If you don't have an RT card, just play with DX11, it looks better anyway.Did they fix the Steam overlay yet? I'd like to see what kind of frame rate I'm getting, but Steam's FPS counter won't show and neither will FRAPS.
Because it's a good action-adventure game and one of the last high-production value titles not infested by ESG wokeness and transnigger shit. Why are you people still playing this action-adventure in 2022?
No but mods can fix that.Is Triss black now?
