I have to say npcs not reacting to attacking wolves is a far bigger letdown for me than any graphics downgrade could ever be.
What?
How can NPCs not react to other NPCs attacking them? Do they just stand there and do nothing?

I remember in the first game when you got to the first act and had to figh the demon dogs the NPCs either fought or ran from them, would a bit weird if they didn't have something like that in the third one.

He's saying that peasants don't procect Geralt from wild animals and monsters.

Maybe they are. I just saw this guy from "Precious cargo" quest, sitting on the bench and not reacting to wolves pack. But overall the game world seems not to be reactive enough. I'm watching CohhCarnage Twitch stream now. He is a terrible to watch, "collect everything you can" gamer. The benefit of the way he is playing is that he's not doing things the way devs tell you to do. He robbed every possible house in the first village and NPC's didn't even blink. Not to say it was a middle of the in-game night, so they should at least say something like "Oh hi, get the fuck out of here", but no(It seems I shouldn't play Gothic to fully appreciate this game design). Do you remember the quest to find a guy responsible for burning blacksmith workshop? Well, he found him earlier, while taking all the shit from peasants houses. You couldn't get into interaction with him, he just stood there with his arm bleeding. You can't ask him wtf is he doing there, if he needs help etc. The days have passed, he took the quest from the blacksmith and poor guy still stands there, bleeding to his death. This time you got a chance to talk to him. Unfortunatelly, the guy playing couldn't ask him how the hell did he survive that long since their last meeting. And why there were no marks of his footsteps before taking the quest from blacksmith.

Day 1... redeem free game code?

beg auditor option?

Le graphics card upgrade. I'd say something about upgrading for a game that is downgraded for consoles being utterly useless, but I needed to upgrade for future games anyway, so it's all gravy. I really should have sold the code and pirated for maximum efficiency, but I'm far too lazy to find people to sell to.

Update from Twitch stream. Hardest possible difficulty level seems to suck. This guy just killed the Noonwraith without preparation, without oils and bombs, just jumping and rolling like a retard. It took him longer then usual, because bitch has a lot of HP, weak damage, 0,01 attacks per second and nonexistant AI. It almost looked like she was unable to kill the player. Nothing really changed since TW2.

It seems hardest difficulty is the new normal. :gumpyhead:

Yeah, pretty fucked up considering Dark on W2 didn't feel that hard as-is.

I can understand wanting to make the easier difficulties a little more trivial, but what are you supposed to do if you want a challenge now? There's nowhere to crank it up from there. The last difficulty is just perma death, so you can enjoy starting over after the 100 hours in boss kills you with some unexpected scripted move.

Wasn't there suppose to have been stamina that depleted when rolling? Don't see that in the stream.

They got rid of the different types of dodging system. Originally I believe they were going to have a normal pirouette dodge with no stamina cost and then the long roll with stamina cost. They got rid of the pirouette, so presumedly I guess they axed stamina cost on the roll too.

Omfg I can't watch this anymore. I regret I preordered TW3 a couple of hours ago, before watching him play. He is the first person who actually play this game, not showing it. And it looks very easy at hardest difficulty. He literally died once, killes by ghouls. Then he started rolling. He rolles the fuck out of this game. Rolling is a win button, no matter what's your enemy is. It doesn't cost stamina and it's as effective as in TW2. Plus quen taking all the damage again. CDPR cannot into reliability.

but we play witcher games for story and great writting!

why would a game about professional monster hunter where you spent most of your time either watching cutscenes or killing shit have a good combat system? what is it? Devil May Cry? :troll:

Your first idiotic mistake was when you pressed that shinny preorder button, you should have known that with so much controversy around the game it bounds to have more problems than bad graphics...I guess people never learn
