There's a nigger and gay sex in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!

If situation was reversed and Vavra was a leftist making concessions to the right, he would be mercilessly ostracized and cancelled by everyone without exception.
People laughed at wacko left when they tried to cancel and boycott Hogwarts Legacy for J.K Rowling's comments, and people will laugh at wacko right who try to cancel and boycott KCD 2 for shit Vavra put in the game.

I don't find it smart to compare a multi-billion dollar franchise to the make-or-break game of a (recently) somewhat unknown game studio. KC2 will STILL sell, but this PR stunt will be costly.

Hogwarts Legacy is filled with trannies and non-white people, despite it taking place in 1800s Britain. The leftists won. Their "outrage" over Hogwarts Legacy was entirely performative.

This whole thing is insane. They were perfectly set up to capitalise on ChudNacht with Trump's election and the woke being put away and instead they just decide to make Henry lightly contemplate fucking his best friend in the ass mid-conversation. He might not do it. This time. But the thought and option is always there!

Also lol @ Vavra claiming this is all part of his 'vision' moodboard. A 'vision' is something you feel a profound creative yearning to include. Nobody feels a profound creative yearning to add gay romance options to their existing, already straight, character. In fact it's slightly perverse to inflict this on poor Henry, who you surely feel some affection for as the star of your breakout game. Nobody really feels a desire to express themselves through including a highly intelligent, cool, suave immigrant doctor of colour. If Vavra or another writer had somehow become obsessed with the history of Mali in this period I could understand, but you can tell from his disingenuous, half-hearted defence that he knows something is wrong, that he knows he's betrayed a creative calling in some way.

I probably should have known when the priest character in the first game was presented as a 'cool priest who fucks' and not as someone who, you know, actually believes in his calling as a Christian. Still, it's extremely disappointing. I'm just so tired of resentment propaganda at this stage. It's not hatred, I just don't want to constantly have to forcibly ignore the presence of gays and blacks in my games.

Someday we'll get a loving, perfectly recreated game of Arthur Conan Doyle's The White Company, fellas. Someday.

Best we can do is The Multiracial Company, take it or leave it

This was so fucking annoying when you were trying to get the virginity achievement. They don't tell you if Henry is going to fug.
Imagine you're playing this game and you end up with a Cyberpunk style moment where you accidentally pick the gay option because its not spelled out very well. I've watched too many livestreams of Cyberpunk where they both end up with the Male option and in the case of fem V end up in a relationship with Judy by accident. It is an issue, communicate that this shits going to happen better and then maybe people won't get so annoyed about it.

I think it's a pretty weird design choice. It suggests that the game had a really big budget that Vavra felt he had to fill with all sorts of bells and whistles ("Fuck it, we have cash, let's add a gay romance subplot!")
It's possible he might have already wanted to do it in the first game, but didn't because of budget and other constraints
Yeah, he had to settle for making scenes staring at Theresa's ass, flirting with Bianca, dating Theresa, fucking Lady Stephanie etc. They just didn't have 5 bucks to make any kind of hint at Henry being a homo. What a shame.

Same with the Mensa Musa ubernigger. Takes too much money to make a model! Vavra always wanted to make medieval Bohemia resemble modern America complete with the superior negro worship, he just didn't have the cash for it!

It stands to reason that if Henry is you and you wear dresses then Henry can wear dresses and powder his nose and get plastic surgery from advanced Malian doctors

What a shame this all is. One of the few games I was looking forward to, but they've gone and made Henry bi.

Deep discount, pirated, or not at all for me now.

What a damn shame.

People were already asking why Henry can be gay but not trans.
That's another part of the problem. Once you lay the groundwork for this sort of thing, boundaries will be pushed further in the name of 'inclusion'.

It remains to be seen if there will be a Kingdom Come Deliverance 3 but if there is, I have no doubt that it'll be even more compromised than the second game.

If the current trend holds, there might be sufficient pushback against wokeness that it doesn't happen. Or so one can hope.

I'm so confused right now. The anti-woke is being smoked out of an originally "anti-woke game" (partially, at least). Are these people now the new nutty leftoid audience that suddenly will play Kingdom Come and praise Vavra?

Maybe. Subversives are desperate to return to the 90's era of token diversity where it's just a little subversion and more subtle than that likes of Concord and Veilguard.

A lot of them aren't genuine.

This sort of thing happens frequently in the modern gaming scene. There's a lot of bad actors who move from game to game insisting that X, Y or Z needs to be added in the name of 'inclusion' and they get off to the idea of eliminating and shunning the original target audience.

They don't actually care about the integrity of the setting and characters. They have a very surface level understanding of it at best.

They count on the aid of a compromised moderation team to censor anyone who speaks out against it even politely and calmly due to draconian rules that are unfairly enforced.

A lot of it is driven by revenge, too. The original game was successful precisely because it didn't go all in with the same agenda that many other titles were embracing at the time. It still had some eyebrow raising moments but nothing hugely damning.

It sold very well. Yet sources of funding became even more difficult to acquire and that funding for the sequel unfortunately came with pressure to compromise and subvert.

As much as I am reluctant to credit subversives, they are excellent at sniffing out their kind and so they instinctively join in. Most of them will not play the game or buy it but they will seek to destroy as much of the franchise as they can.

You'll see it play out on social media in the coming weeks and months after launch. Any criticism or mention of the subversive elements will be banned and only fluff like art sharing and discussion about how amazing specific characters are will be allowed.

I've seen this play out many times already across a number of different games, movies and TV shows.
