Hey guys is there a way to turn on first person mode in Assassin's Creed? Kinda want to look how it goes.

This was that mission where you have to save the peace loving muslims on Constantinopla from Christian machete rape gangs. I returned to third person because jumping on a haystack cart on high speed was even more silly in first person. I tried to find a mod to change the bow to be more Thief like but it was in vain. I can't wait to Square Enix to show Ubisoft how an assassin game should be made.

Well, I knew that would be the answer, but I kinda wanted to record the video, darken it and put it online as 'real Thiaf reboot gameplay [LEAKED]'.

And i mean everything, from bow to interface to Garrett's voice, eeeeeveeeryyythiiiing.

The Minimalist Project (for Thief 3) already proved that this approach doesn't give you a great game in place of a mediocre one, only a mediocre game that feels slightly less awkward.

Fuck that thing, as always, my favorite IP is being raped. It's not a real thief anymore. This is just some masked faggot pseudo-cynical steampunk assassin la parkour simulator.
Also, I bet they will hardcode everything to that extent that the whole game will be totally unfriendly for modders. We all know why. But if DLC's won't be a case and modding will be actually possible, I swear to make a normal bow mod. Or at least try to.

This pretty much sums up my feelings. We all expected this game to blow, but what I didn't expect was for the game to literally be unrecognizable as a Thief game. The only thing that it is remotely similar is the fact that you have a blackjack.

I'm simple amazed that it's still 1st person POV. Making it 3rd person is the only thing missing to make the parody complete.

Gotta say that this little bit of gameplay was much better than what we previously saw. Lots of utterly shitty things like stupid AI and that swoop/dash thing, but it was better at least. I'm glad to see the rope arrow climbing bit was in 1st person.

But was blowing that crate to mantle really necessary? Even the guards that were some meters away didn't hear a thing.
