don't ask me how i know but the game has clothes physics and root animation! it only has 3 stats and 3 armor slots but it has clothes physics and root animation!!! sure they may have cut some stretch goals and some characters other then humans but the game has clothes physics and root animation!!!!! it doesn't seem to feature hair physics like twitcher, maybe because it's a small team working on this game, but it does have clothes physics and root animation!!!!!!! not full clothes physics, only the lower side of your dress or cape will move around because it was done on such a small budget and the animations are crappy but it does have partial clothes physics and root animation!!!!!!!!!

Fixed for accuracy. Please be fair and admit the game has root animation too! When was the last time you played an RPG with root animation?

well, to be fair, root animation is critical to a text based RPG especially one with such a high word count. how would one understand the game or be immersed without it?

As honest as the apology for the book of elves.

You know, that was the time when inXile were still cool, if they did that now I bet it would some pathetic excuse like this one.

Translation: we ran out of money. Maybe if the game sells well enough, we'll restore stretch goals as DLC.

What the fuck is this "we're sorry for not communicating" bullshit? I didn't pay money for "communication," I paid money for content in NuTorment that I'm not getting. Apologize for lying to me during the kickstarter, not for not telling me about the lying until you were caught with your pants in a tree and your dick hanging out.

I'm feeling pretty wishy washy with this one.

Some of the footage I've watched today makes me think: "Wow, this looks like one big steaming pile of shit."
Then I've watched some other footage and it hypes me up to play it already.

InXile confirmed shit at marketing.

Playing the beta : so far it is better than POE or Tyranny. However...I got through the whole beta with only two combats and I could've skipped one of them. Im hoping the first city isn't as big as Cyseal or Fort Joy, otherwise I just blew through the first 1/4 of game with no use for my combat skills.

There are only about a dozen crises in the game.

Sounds so horribly shitty. No excuse, just "we're sorry" and all of that after being caught by the community. How can anyone believe they would speak about it without the backlash? How can anyone trust those sleazy bastards?

Obviously it would have been noticed at release anyway, so what's the point of silence? Hoping to squeeze out a few more early access sales before negative publicity? Is InXile really so badly run that they didn't think to be up front with backers?

This is a master class in how not to handle customer communication.

Already two people name-dropping the Codex. I hope they're getting paid.
