I don't think this means they won't address factions that fit better on the WH1 or 2 maps. I mean look at the Wood Elves. If you just had WH2 you got the sisters of twilight. If you had WH1 and the DLC to get all the extra content.
I can see them doing this for a Southern Realms faction DLC. One or two LLs away on expeditions around the Darklands on the WH3 main map. Then have another 2-3 LLs for the big combined map and have them start in Estalia, Tilea and the Border Princes. Same thing could work for Araby (if Allah wishes it!), but Araby will probably end up just providing some flavor units in a Dogs Of War roster...

At this point they would be stupid to not start pushing content that incentivize people to get WH1 and 2 as big DLCs.

Too bad about the woke undercurrent.
Wait what? What woke shit did they say? I mean was it anything specific or is this just the general game developer from western Europe standard woke shit?

I take it the factions will be even more squished together on the world map to make everything fit together even more?

What's this hate for women or mixed rosters in Warhammer 3? This ain't Rome 2, it is a fantasy game.

If adding women into a fantasy setting is woke then every single fantasy stuff since '80 is woke, even if "wokeness" didn't exist yet.

Here is the kind of women they added to fantasy settings in the '80:

Old fantasy has a different approach to female warriors than modern fantasy.

Even going back as far as the Iliad there are female warriors. Amazons, goddesses. But the thing is they were somewhat special, they weren't just ordinary footsoldiers in the ranks of the dorians and trojans. I can't think of any fantasy made before the last twenty years where women were just serving as normal city guards, infantry, whatever. That's quite a different thing and it's cringe.

I mean, Sisters of Battle are one thing, but female space marines would be a completely different thing. If you're going to have women performing a masculine activity like combat, there needs to be something that sets them apart from the men.

I'm fine with all-woman units like death hags or the elf archer chicks, but if it's co-ed units like in Rome 2 then that's a hard pass.

The funniest thing about Grace getting upset about the 3k mods is that these mods all come from the Chinese. They fucking love their hyperfeminised character designs. So they did it to themselves by trying so hard to reach that audience.

But didnt they use her face for the Dark Elf Supreme Sorceress? I remember some woman on a stream years ago, when they revealed Empire Divided (or showed Palmyra of) for Rome II and I always believed that it was Grace. I always thought that the Supreme Sorceress looked quite familiar. I mean I never liked her, always seemed like she wanted to do everything else than being a community manager and she wasn't a good community manager to begin with.

EDIT:
Okay scrap that, that was Joey Dalton the brand manager for Empire Divided, even though that sounds like a fake name or something, I mean Lucky Luke anyone (I know it was Joe Dalton, but anyway)?

Well put. There is nothing wrong with female units for, say, Elves because those are an extra special race.
Amazons are essentially a special "race" too just based on real life myth. These aren't a problem.
Even stuff like warrior women in Shogun 2 is fine since the game is clearly intended to be mythical more than realistic.

Women serving in the levy of Germanic tribes in 700 AD? Female fucking gladiators?! That's... highly questionable. That's where the agenda shines through.

Personally i'm all for gender equality when it comes to being devoured by monsters and if cathay really wants to send forth armies of women to fight the forces of slaneesh or nurgle then who are we to stop the march of progress?

I'm gonna wait for the mods I use to be updated before purchasing. And also for them to fix all the inevitable day 1 bugs. +M

Jesus Christ how am I supposed to notice any of these animations when I am 150% busy microing tons of shit every fucking second? Can’t stop marveling at the choir of retards who fiercely applaud each time some new nonsensical killing animation is introduced. what a waste of resources.

It's for the casuals that play on normal difficulty with 50% speed.
