OK. Counter questions :D
1. Does anyone explain who Tchort is and what was its plan (well in addition to shit propaganda that Tchortists talk about all the time)? Why did Tchort want the cube?
2. What is Occulus?
3. Is the specific role of the Cube explained? Or does it just stay an unexplained McGuffin?
4. Really? The guy that asks you to bring him his knife?
5. What does the computer say? Do you find out who the Father is?

1. Some of the scientists were working on creating new intelligent organisms. These organisms were the Faceless. I forget which scientist, but one of them took pride in one of Faceless he created, and allowed that Faceless (named Otis) to become his right-hand man. When Biocorp started falling apart, Otis led a rebellion or something similar, and threw the scientists who created the Faceless into the Mutagen tanks. Those scientists became Tchort. It's not explained why Tchort wanted the cube.

2. I don't know. And from Declinator's post I may have been incorrect about Six's affiliation.

3. It's not explained. You can ask the Faceless once you retrieve it and they just tell you to fuck off.

4. Yeah, I have no idea who this guy is. Don't even know about a knife.

5. IRIS still wants to kill you but mysteriously shuts down and shows a flash of "horror". I thought it was interesting because her reaction indicated that you didn't pass the check when you did. It later occurred to me that she probably shut down because she realized that Father is dead. If you reboot IRIS (requires 130 hacking) you find a much nicer version. The Father is some guy who's name I forget. Stenberg or something. He had a sister who died in a tragedy and IRIS is actually modeled after his sisters personality. He predicted Biocorp's collapse into warring factions and prepared the Arke to defend itself.
1. Lol. So Eidan and Tchortist are just a bunch of tools :D
5. I have crap Persuade and the same thing happened to me. I think both of us failed the check. What was your character's Persuade score?
I also used hacking afterwards to get some windows based version.

We urgently need a spoiler thread because newer players should not come into here and get their game 100% spoiled because someone is too much of a faggot to finish the last part of the game themselves.

I am using spoiler tags. Go fuck yourself.

It's one thing for people to come in here and ask a question or two and then for people to give them answers. Spoilers are spread throughout the thread in this unorganized manner.

But starting a discussion by saying "OK gents just spoil every damned detail in the game for me please, and thanks," is an entirely different beast. You got things spoiled for yourself that you didn't even realize could be spoiled, that's how deep some of the spoilers are in this game. A post like yours begging someone to just bare everything is going to inevitably lead to a highly tainted discussion - and this thread that is supposed to be meant as the entry point is an inappropriate place for such a discussion.

Also, your attitude is essentially "I got to the end of the game but then there were ~difficulties~ that triggered me. From now on, I will play through the game and just stop before those triggering ~difficulties~." You raged out hard at one of the coolest areas in the game (Arke) and got to the point where you were crying "I PUSHED A BUTTON AND IT DID THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE".

I hope you can understand why someone might not respect such an attitude.

I was thinking about Rail Crossing, and I believe there should be another way to resolve that whole situation:

If you get rid of the Faceless by first obtaining the power source from the abandoned factory and setting it up to neutralize the plasma sentries, there are a bunch of them left over afterward. Why can't the town deactivate the plasma sentries, reprogram them, and use them for defense against raiders? Then the shipment from the Protectorate is no longer needed.

A quick question about JKK missions:

As far as i know - no

Okay, thanks. It sure seems like there should be more to that line. There are clues all over the place but they lead nowhere.

So it has begun. People already pretending like Deep Caverns are OK. As I said earlier, go fuck yourself. If you are not willing to answer question then step aside.
This is not only place where I can get these answers, just than I know people answer fast.

And it does not even matter why I wanted things spoilered. If someone came and never played the game and asked for people to spoiler the main story for him, it is not your place to say that he should not get that information. You can only choose to not give that information yourself.

Alas, the plasma sentries are not enough for the whole station.

If you use the EMP and free Buzzer afterwards, he is supposed to repair his turrets and repurpose the plasma sentries to stand guard in his shop, but I don't think this actually happens in the current version.

I was also kind of irritated how plasma sentries indefinitely just stand there. I also killed the faceless there because I could not pass the persuasion checks and their bodies also forever stay there. Botanist in SGS says he would like to see their body when you talk to him about Faceless after the CC invasion happens. It would be cool if you could get those dead Faceless to him for study and he can give you some information about them and maybe get some item from their body as a reward for your effort.
Or at least make is so the bodies disappear eventually because other Faceless come and pick them up.
And that is not the only place. Why power 5 outposts that than stay empty forever, Styg should add one guard per outpost. Little details matter.

In the vast majority of cases, Styg has done very well at paying attention to minute details. I've played the game for hundreds of hours, and there are a variety of nuances that flew right under my radar, while others I've noticed and appreciated.

I do agree though that the outpost quest isn't as fleshed-out as it should be. You're "retaking" outposts (turning on the lights, essentially); but why? To guard against something, perhaps? If so, what? Only wildlife and the odd hermit live anywhere near that area, and in any event there are several other routes to the SGS vault door.

Perhaps in future months (i.e., not immediately) it will be occupied and built up into a functioning complex. Perhaps it was just the council's first field test for the player. Perhaps they can't spare the manpower immediately; SGS is sizable but not huge, so sending five or more fighting men to the outpost during a dangerous time might have been deemed undesirable.

I mean that's totally right. I think it is pretty clear that the beginning quests are a little meh, and the DC has some flaws (but it looks like the patch took care of *some* of the annoyance involved at least). Just a little more exposition about the outposts, or maybe outline some more about Omega and give a bit more flavor to establish that SGS is expanding in the aftermath of the conflict with them.

Oh shit, he was talking about the vs firearms bonus. Yeah, what Ziem said. Tho it would be lulzy if it applies to the entire DT. Metal armor + balaclava builds FTW!

Yeah was thinking of dropping my crit damage googles in case that effect applied to my armour.

Hi guise plz rate my rifle

Just because I had a very high quality frame. I'd prefer a reaper with a regular or high resolution scope but I can't find a good reaper frame.
Possibly a spearhead too, with the same attachments as the one in the screenshot. That would reduce the AP cost to 24. Hmmm

Yeah, Corsair is shit.

Also more worth it to use a Spearhead or 7.62mm Reaper if you wanna go for two shots with adrenaline, otherwise better to focus on doing the most damage in one hit. My personal fav is a 8..6mm Reaper with a hi res scope, bipod and smart mod to give me good damage and crit dam while increasing my crit chance (I'd rather crit 20% of the time than crit only 10% for larger damage from the anatomically aware scope since a crit is typically a single shot kill anyway).

Yeah, for Corsair I kinda need the anatomically aware scope since I got the power criticals feat.
I'd prefer a Reaper since that already has higher critical damage, but I don't think you can get two shots with that either, even with rapid reloader, right?

Also Blitz is only worth for unarmed builds imo. Don't get it for a knife build, measly 20ap are basically one more hit with the knife, fuck that shit.

It can also being good for sniper rifles with 35AP to avoid the side effects of adrenaline shot.

With it you can open with Snipe and then an Aimed Shot.

The 2 shots/round feature of the Dragunov is pretty cool, but the damage output starts to become a bit lackluster for me.
I'm considering to craft a high-crit damage alpha-strike Sniper rifle.

I tried toying with it but I find it's accuracy shit getting 20% to hit chance compared to my Reaper.

With a reloader its 32AP, down adrenaline and you've got two shots.

As you can see here, only the 12.7 Harbinger can't be fired twice with 70 AP.

I would go with the 8.6 Reaper. Corsair is cancer, stay away from it.

What about the
Rathound King leather armor? I'm still using it for the speed and strength buffs.
Btw can you point to where you can find those items? Or am I fucked since I'm in DC already.

Yeah, I forgot about that one, since I believe it's the only armor that increases strength. I think the other bonuses could be better on crafted items though. None of the items I mentioned are located in the DC, but here is where you can find them,

Power Fist: Hecate Lab. Directions are given by the Tchort Investigator located with all the pacified animals. You'll find it a ways east of the entrance to Core City or by heading into the cave tunnels on SGS's metro level and going north until you find some rocks you can climb up (you will have to blow up some collapsed rocks on the way in the same cave where you meant a guy called Milton or something).

Tchortist Noble Robes: Can be found on some of the Tchortists who have their own offices on the same level as Eidein.

Kukuri: Head into the caves opposite the Energy Cell Facility just before Camp Hathor. The ones at the top of your screen. You'll find a locker and a nice surprise waiting for you.

Tommy Gun: I think it's on some guy who can be found a cell north of where Jon the Beautiful is located behind the Hardcore Bar. But I could be mistaken.

Steyr-Auch is good for it's decent stats/dam, med velocity bullets against shields and 5 str req. For my sniper build it's the perfect back up for close quarters and saves me going to 6 str or using a SMG without the stats to make them good.

Now that I got the ratking armour I might switch it out for crafted rifle, but once I move onto better armour I'll be using it again.

For me it's all the damn bats.

Bats only hang out in caves to sleep and shit, they don't bloody live in them!

Well, there are plenty of insects in Underrail. They can be heard and seen around light sources, garbage, and corpses.

Semantically, yeah, technically they (some species) do live in caves and caverns, although they may hunt elsewhere.

Archibald Knight wanted me to take them alive so that he could personally interview them, too. I nerve stapled them all because after Cornell explained himself, my only options were to let them go or fight, lacking Persuade or Intimidate (I forget which). They wouldn't come quietly.

I was still able to finish the quest upon return to Knight with some choice of dialog options, including the possibility of lying.

Why? The stats aren't much different from the other examples you posted, and the highest damage is better. In fact, I've been using
Abram's Corsair ever since I got it from him up to the end of the game almost

Yeah I've been using a Corsair of late too because nothing comes close to its 166 max damage and its min damage of around 60-70 isn't much worse than other frames.

I've crafted this sniper rifle and could one-shot anyone in the game. I could craft even more powerful version of it once I got to DC (there was a super quality frame in there) but I didn't take all the best parts I had with me to DC. And 12.7 mm special ammo are cool.
