I guess i am fucked.
I stashed some plot items in one of the Deep Caverns Warehouses - i pretty sure i stashed some canisters and mechanical tools. After some weeks and the last update (?) i think the shelve reseted. No plot items anymore... I explored everything, except for mushroom caves, so i assume i had the canisters...

All i miss now are the 3 canisters to repair the gate. Is there some cheat for that? I pretty sure i had them stashed...

Also i did not quite get the powering up of areas. I thought i have to activate something at the location to be able power it up at PP? Cannot power up Mutagens B and some other areas.

From what version did you update? There used to be a bug in a lot older version regarding this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/250520/discussions/1/458604254446427498/

I guess the update was the latest "quality of life" update. Definitely this year. I am sure i had some canisters stashed and several mechanical tool sets. All in the warehouse with lots of shelves and 1 robot... But now each shelve seem to be reseted.

I revisited the elevator area and there is no canister there. So i am sure I picked it up and cleaned the area from burrowers. The save game hax does not work anymore, right? There is no lmaps directory anymore.
I have an older save from 07.02 with lmaps, but i guess as soon as i save, i cannot repeat the hax steps from above.
Any prestygious hax/cheat available to obtain the 3 canisters? I really want to finish the game.

I will probably just restart DC from older save.
To speed things up to the "Gate", can someone tell me the locations of
the canisters/tools/pumps?
mutagens (i have a bunch of those, but don't know anymore from where)

And where/how to gain access to the "mutagen combination lab", Leo talks about. I assume it's on the very first maps, because there is only one lab i could not access. Probably needs power, but did not know how to power it up (i did for other areas.)

I don't remember the exact locations of the necessary tools (probably should have been placed in some unique containers), but I know that you need to complete both labyrinths in order to get what you need. As for the lab Leo mentions, it's in the Hollow Earth complex, so as far as I remember you need to power it up. It's a small area behind gates (without any loading screens) which also has a camera near it (pretty much the only camera in the whole complex).

With the second labyrinth you mean mushroom caves? Also how power the lab up? I cannot do anything in PP. Do i have to activate something?

Yes, they are both pretty much labyrinths.
You need to power up the Hollow Earth complex itself from the Arke power station. The line in the dialogue tree called "Research complex" or something.

It is, but is also lack of mastery over English language due to it being only my second one. I doubt anyone here will want to read a review in my Slavic language.

Well Styg himself could read it, that's gotta be worth something. :M

If you really want to write a review and language is the only thing stopping you, I'll translate it for you.

Is there a third way to enter Port Zenith apart from the ones mentioned in the wiki? Without persuasion I can't enter through the front door and that Superindendent Rubin guy gives me no options. (He says "You again? What is it now?" to which I can only answer "Never mind".

Anyone got an idea how much Persuasion you need to pass all checks?

Probably 135, though I don't remember any checks that high. As a very rough guideline, static skill checks are set to maximum base skill value of content level. So for example level 1 skillcheck would be 15, level 18 area will have skillchecks of 100 and they go up to 130-135 skill at level 24-25 in endgame.

Not terribly useful advice since you can't see content levels, but you can look at locks to get a rough idea what to expect in your current area.

I think the last check in the game is the
IRIS core, which you can persuade not to fight with you.
Considering that I had 130 Persuasion after DC, it means that the final checks must be <130.

I will not admit how long it took me to figure out Underrail had it's own dedicated forum area.

Playing it for the first time since release, just to check some of these updates. Pretty nifty so far...really loving the detail. Not sure if I love the new text/font but it IS tighter, so there's that. Anyway, cool stuff. Glad to see y'all are still working on perfecting it, Styg ! What's next?

So i re-played DC from the start-save because my canisters were lost between updates.
It's not that time consuming, if you know what to do and have a map (i drew a map while playing DC the first time). And also kind of fun, if you watch the Debuff.

Did anyone fight the boss without solving the Mutagen puzzle?

Mutagen puzzle, oh boy.
I've seen some semi-easy examples where you can eliminate a few sequences right away. My sequences could not be eliminated that easily. While the puzzle is already not easy to get started with:
  1. find all mutagens when exploring DC
  2. scan them one by one (and Existus-1) to find their negative atoms
  3. find the last mutagens near boss - back track to scan them too while cursing heavily
  4. then come back and play the damn puzzle
Funny thing is, if you say fuck it and want to "brute force" it, Styg chose to have 15 Mutagens, which means 1.307.674.368.000 possible permutations (if you assume there is no duplicates, which is also not a given). Due to the nature of the puzzle, there is no short cut heuristic to speed things up, because theoretically there can be any number of negative atoms on a single atom (and those can help make target sequence (Exitus) from a seemingly impossible sequence).
Well played.
:excellent:

Anyway, i ended up implementing Steinhaus–Johnson–Trotter algorithm. Exluded 4 sequences from computation by choosing/luck and got a solution after checking ~30m permutations (~45 sec) shrieking out loud like a girl... Otherwise i would have waited for a solution for 50 days... with my readable but probably semi-slow implementation.

I know some guy posted a solver on steam, but the code looks like shit and also could not run it even after installing C++ redis/updates.
